How to use multiple selection variable.

Hi, I have set created a multiple selection varible in the property tab of my object. I am having a hard time displaying it. approver_list is the name of my multiple selection. I attempted to display the list by using <dtml-var approver_list> in my document but it didn't work. I got "[]" in return. May I know what I have done wrong that it only display "[]". Thanks for your help. -Charlene

This hotfix addresses a potential denial-of-service vulnerability in applications that use the Python cgi module (cgi.py) for parsing of "multipart" Web form data (Zope uses this functionality internally). ZODBC not working in 2.4.0?

Hello I have a fresh installation of Zope 2.4.0 and installed ZODBC (ZODBCDA-3.1.0b2-win32-x86) in this installation. This is the only extra product. <speculation type="mere"> Me thinks the Adobe (boo, hiss) plugin is using HTTP/1.1 to retreive _parts_ of the .pdf file. Automatically go to another page after query results?

Hello all, Can anyone help Sheree, cause I certainly can't..., I'm still chunking away at the basics... Thanks! Here is the scenario.... (all of this is generated from a database) A user looks at the Officer info page and then clicks Modify to change the information. In the Modify page, once the user clicks Submit, the update is made and I then need to and send the user to back to the Officer info page. I've been trying RESPONSE.redirect but cannot figure out syntactically how to pass the parameters... RESPONSE.redirect('cltest?var1=<dtml-var var1in>') The above causes var1 to be equal to the actual text of <dtml-var var1in> So what I need to do is... within a dtml method I want to automatically go to another page (need to pass parameters as well) after certain steps are performed such as an update query In Cold Fusion I was able to do this using the CFLOCATION tag. LoginManager problem (get access without login)?

Hiya! I have a problem with LoginManager: When I try to access a protected folder I get the login site (that's ok), but when I press "back" and "forward" I get the protected content (e.g. index_html) ??? very strange behavior ... solution anyone? I thought that it has something to do with caching and added <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setHeader('Cache-Control', 'no-store, private, s-maxage=0, must-revalidate')"> to standard_html_header, but that has no effect ... User profiles

Is there a product for maintaining/building user profile pages or is this something too trivially implemented to be done up as a product? What I need is a page that each user will have as a start page when they login, that will show them a personal calendar of upcoming deadlines, it will also have a record of their email address which will be referenced by other processes, and would allow them to change their password and such like. hmmm...come to think of it, it does sound fairly straightforward to do, now that I think about it.... Any thoughts, hints or suggestions? bkd

Simple, Open Source RDBMS for Windows

Hello. Here's the satanic plan: with a little hard work for me, I'm converting my girlfriend's notebook office applications to Zope. She's currently using Microsoft Office for a number of tasks, but I'm "porting" her Excel and Access applications to Zope (not porting Excel, mind you; just the business logic, as well as some reporting stuff from Access.) I have demonstrated her that it would works--and it looks cool BTW, not to mention some stuff I have under my sleeve for her in the future (Zope wise) But, I've been using Gadfly as the underlying RDBMS service. I know of its limitations (sort of). So, I'm asking you guys if there's a small, SQL compliant to the basic level, Open Source RDBMS that runs under Windows. Or is Gadfly more than enough for personal use? Best regards, Carlos. PS. She's running Windows 2000. Tried to convince her to run FreeBSD but that was too much to ask, so I conceded.

I did something like that the two weeks ago. After saving the info, I wanted to send them back to a certain page, and tell them that the info was saved successfully. Admin_editSectionForm is the page I wanted to send them to sectionSaved is a parameter I wanted to pass. <dtml-let pageLocation="'Admin_editSectionForm' + '?sectionSaved=1'"> <dtml-call expr="RESPONSE.redirect(pageLocation)"> </dtml-let> I remember having to use the dtml-let to build the location and querystring because I was having the same problem as you. Cooledit and zope functionality

Has anyone used the Unix X editor CoolEdit? http://cooledit.sourceforge.net/index.php It seems to have some Zope functionality but when I select Zope Mode it dies with a python error. I may have a play with it but would welcome any comments from those who use it... So any comments from the wider world? Cheers Chris
