Hiya! OpenBSD 2.9 Zope 2.3.2 Python 1.5 When I try to run "make -f Makefile.pre.in boot" to compile DynPersist.c I get the following error message(s) Does anybody know what's going on here? your help's much appreciated!!! ZCatalog: how to only catalog items with a specific property?

Hi fellow Zopists, I'm trying to figure out how to only select certain DTMLDocuments with a specific property into the ZCatalog via the "Find Objects" Screen. On that Find Objects screen there's a field called "expr" .. it somehow works because entering "1 == 1" selected every DTML Document while "1 == 2" selected none. My problem is that I couldn't figure out the valid statement for selecting only Documents with the certain property "NON_CATALOGED" not set. "hasattr(self,'NON_CATALOGED')" did not work... i'm lost, even looking at those source didn't help... Any guru around? Thanks in advance, Philipp Robbel

I am trying to list all the available 'Portal Folders' in a menu, I am able to do this by using this code: <dtml-in expr="objectValues('Portal Folder')"> <A HREF="&dtml-id;"><dtml-var title><BR> </dtml-in> However, if the current object happens to be a default "index_html" page, the page above won't list because objecValues is working on index_html page....( I hope I am right in my assumptions). Can anyone suggest a strategy to determine if what I am looking at is a leaf document, and how to list the parent 'Portal Folders'. Thanks! Aaron.

Outlook -> Zope help needed

This is really more of an MS Outlook than an Zope question. I want to provide a view on out Zope Intranet into a special Calendar folder in Outlook on NT4 Terminal Server. It would be sufficient (not to mention easier than doing MAPI programming) to periodically export the Calendar folder to a file, where Zope could read it over the network. Outlook has such an export function, which you can use if you are sitting at the keyboard running Outlook. However, I do not see how to invoke the export function automatically. Does anyone know how to automatically and periodically make Outlook export a folder? -- Thanks -- Loren
