Hi Todd, I'm moving this over to the mailing list in case other's want to join in fun :) Does your database table have *one* string field named "membership" or are there many boolean fields that represent the different memberships that each user record can have? Depending on that answer, you will need to use a different method to store the checkbox data in your database. When your form is submitted, Zope will interpret your check boxes as a list of string values. You can verify this by posting your form to a DTML method that includes: <dtml-var REQUEST> and looking at the form variables. That list represents the items checked in your form. In your ZSQL Method you can use the <dtml-sqlgroup> , <dtml-sqlvar> and <dtml-sqltest> tags to dynamically build your SQL string. Have a look at the "Passing Parameters to Scripts" and "Dynamic SQL Queries" sections of the Zope Book. There are a lot of great examples there. Backup Zope once a day

Hello, I have created a little cron script that creates a daily tarball from my entire Zope dir. But in order to do this I must stop Zope - create the tarball and then start Zope again. I now that Zope will only be down for about 2 minutes or so but customers don't like that :-) So I was wondering if there was a way to do a daily backup without stopping Zope ? ProxyPass with MS ISA

Hi folks, Does anybody run Microsoft ISA Server together with Zope? I'm currently looking for the possibility to use ISA for passing request to a Zope server on the inside of a firewall. My first choice was to use Apache and ProxyPass, but unfortunately I am limited to use MS ISA or MS IIS. Interfacing to Zope

Hi, I haven't quite given up. It just has to be possible, PCGI and fastcgi can do it, so why not I? I've rechecked the protocol and am quit sure that I've gotting it right. While checking, I noticed that PCGI (the wrapper, actually) will start a python process called pcgi_publisher.py. Is this necessary? As I understood the documentation, when using the ZServer for listening on a (TCP) port, this is all it needs. Does ZServer on unix work with TCP sockets or only with domain sockets? If I start Zope with' python z2.py -X -F 1234 -D', then it will listen on the port 1234, but it will never spew anything out ... Does anyone have a clue as to what happens (which processes are started and how they interact) if you use PCGI? I just find it hard to believe that there is no documentaion on this subject ... I now installed: ZMySQLDA-2.0.7.linux-i686.tar.gz and MySQL-python-0.9.0.linux-i686.tar.gz extracted them from my zope root. Is there anything more to do?
