Getting username of last editor

Hi there, How do I get the UserName of the last user that changed an object. I just want a simple: This page was last edited by xxxxx on yyyyy on my pages. The yyyy part is easy (bobobase_modifiction_time), but so far I had no luck in getting the last user. Looked at History.py and history.dtml until my head hurt and still none the wiser! Zope Release 2.4.1 possible bug?

Hello there, is it possible that there is a little bug in Zope release 2.4.1? restrictedTraverse fails in some situations with the message: Error Type: NameError Error Value: global name 'has' is not defined For example it doesn't work at all with "absolute" paths like ("", "subdir", "somewhere")... Seams as there was a has=hasattr forgotten in the unrestrictedTraversable-Method in lib/python/OFS/traversable.py What to do? Regards, Holger

Hi all, I have done a little zclass, in his addForm method I have this instruction: <dtml-in expr="restrictedTraverse('/Control_Panel/Products/myProduct/myClass/property sheets/common/myProperties').getProperty('types')"> In Zope 2.3.3 everything works, but in Zope 2.4.1 I have this error: Error Type: NameError Error Value: global name 'has' is not defined  Can you help me? My setup right now has apache in front then zope. When I do a <dtml-var REMOTE_ADDR> it gives the address of the apache server. applying domain access restrictions to all users

I know that with the stock Zope UserFolder it is possible to restrict the IP domains from which each user is allowed to "log in" but is there any standard method for restricting the IP domain that is applied to all user trying to access a URL on a Zope server. Let me be specific: does Zope provide a direct analogue for putting what follows in an .htaccess file of an Apache served directory? <Limit GET> order deny,allow deny from all allow from .mydomain.co.uk </Limit>

accessing Python product classes from a Python script

I've written some Python classes in a product (having given up on a ZClass approach). Let's call the product Prod and one of the classes Cls. I have a Python script in a Zope folder that calls manage_addCls, which is defined at the top level of Cls.py. How can I make manage_addCls accessible to the Zope Python script? First I got an error that manage_addCls is unknown (no surprise). So I tried to import Prod and refer to Prod.Cls.manage_addCls. Now I've got an ImportError saying that 'import of "Prod" is unauthorized. Is this a simple permissions issue? What permissions would I have to change to be able to run my Python script? The script is not supposed to be accessible to users -- it's just something I'm running to populate my site with initial folders and instances of my product's classes. -- --- Mitchell
