Hi, I have a programmer problem! With the command : <dtml-var expr="REQUEST.form['id_doc']" newline_to_br> I get the name of the variable "id_doc" a DTML-Document but is there a method that I get the content of the variable, displayed in a form? I need it for a edit-form. Thank you! :) Regards Steven Meyer

The management screens have the same functionality, and you have access to all of the code. Workflows

Hi there, I am new in all that Zope world, so excuse me if i say something with no sense. I am using Zope 2.4.3 (binary release, python 2.1, win32-x86), python 2.1.0, win32 , CMF-1.2-beta2 and DCWorkflow-0.4.1. I have configured a DCWorkflow with all the states, variables, transitions, ..., that i need. Which is the next step? I want to start creating scripts and connect those scripts to my workflow. How can i do that? Because the Default workflows they come with a workflow example with (create, publish, reject, ...). And to do that I think there are some scripts called in the way. Which is the order of execution of those scripts? Let me explain. Once the workflow is created and configured, how do i make the workflow start? As you can see i am pretty lost. Hello, for one of my projects I would like the user to select the sorting column of a table. On zope.org this is done in the product download page, you can click on a column title and this column will become the sorting column. Yes, I looked at the DTML-SOURCE with the link at the bottom of the page. Sessions with Zope 2.5.0b3 and SiteRoot ?

Hello List I am new with ZOPE and I have installed Zope 2.5.0b3 and run some tests with sessions. Everything works fine so far. Now I want to create a SiteRoot and that means (please tell me if I am wrong) that I need an own tmp_folder with a Transient Object Container in the SiteRoot directory. I have created a tmp_folder and added a Transient Object Container with the ID session_data. A Session Data Manager and a Browser ID Manager are also in the SiteRoot directory. Every time when I restart ZOPE the Transient Object Container gets lost. If I read the help I see, thats this is normal because all Objects in a tmp_folder will be deleted when restarting ZOPE. But the original tmp_folder in the RootFolder of ZOPE always has a Transient Object Container called session_data after starting ZOPE. I guess, that this Transient Object Container is created during startup. Is there any help or a howto on how I can create my own Transient Object Container during startup. Thanks in Advance Markus
