But I suspect this is just because you gave a simplified example. See, the problem with your idea is more or less exactliy the same a with the squid solution: you will not see changes on a page immediatly, as the cached method can't really know if the context has changed (in case of your local_root thingy, what happens if you have changed the id of a folder higher up? Actually, because Accelerated Cache Manage can purge pages on the proxy, I think the solution you can get with squid is exactly the same as with your proposed solution - just some magnitudes faster. cheers, oliver

DTML Calendar tag problem

Hi! I've just installed version 1.0.13 of the DTML Calendar tag on my Zope server. I was trying to build an example page, using this tag, and I noticed the HTML returned is not correctly constructed (a closing table tag is missing or misplaced) and everything looks messed up. iptables locks out zope ftp

been on to this for a while but haven't found the solution yet Searching the net I found similar cases but with no answer :-( using iptables we can ftp to the server and access zope ftp through port 8021 but when the ftp program tries to open another port the ftp session is timed-out/blocked. When we disable the firewall we can ftp right into zope And yes we use passive mode Running zope 2.5.1 build from source, pyhon 2.1.3 build from source rpm, redhat 7.3 on dell powerapp 120 What's wrong? size of image in LocalFS

Hi, I have a set of images in a LocalFS. I provide links to those images on another page and when a user clicks on those links a small window pops up that displays the image. Is it possible in anyway to figure out the size of the image in advance so that I can size the pop up window to be the same?? Thanks again for your help I downloaded Python 2.2.2 from www.python.org as my machine did not have Python 2.2 And i followed the step by step procedure you had suggested . sessions and zope2.6.0
