Conditional Forms

Hi, I have a page with a radio button group with three choices (Father, Mother, or Guardian) and a Submit button. I want to display a different form based upon the user choice. I have a folder called parentOrGuardianInfo. Within that folder are three folders, fathersInfo, mothersInfo, and guardiansInfo. Within those folders are the respective Formulator forms/folders. I am trying to do this: <dtml-if "_['relationship'] == 'father'"> showFathersForm <dtml-elif "_['relationship'] == 'mother'"> showMothersForm <dtml-else> showGuardiansForm </dtml-if> For showFathersForm, I tried doing: <dtml-var "fathersInfo.index_html"> but that shows the dtml source rather than rendering the dtml source. Selections and Records

Hi, I'm currently having problems with passing values from a multiple select statement through the use of a record. So far, I haven't found anything on this in the documentation or the mailing list archives and I was curious if anyone else has encountered this problem. It seems that in passing the multiple values, Zope truncates the returned list to only the first value of the list, losing the rest of the data. If anyone can provide a solution to this problem, or point me in the right direction (how to add to a previously created record object in the REQUEST maybe?) it would be greatly appreciated. Greetings, Feel free to tell me this is a stupid idea, but for sake of clean sources after rendering a page in Zope, could it be possible to indent the contents of a var statement? Observe: Doc1 <html> <body> <dtml-var Doc2> <body> </html> Doc2 <table> <tr> <td> Hi </td> </tr> </table> Note the doc2 is not indented to where the var tag starts, you would typically want it indented properly. When rendered you see <html> <body> <table> <tr> <td> Hi </td> </tr> </table> <body> </html> But if the rendering indented all the outputted contents of doc2 to the space that the var tag is in the calling document you should see: <html> <body> <table> <tr> <td> Hi </td> </tr> </table> <body> </html> Is this totally useless or do I miss something? Hi, my problem is that i have three consecutive forms: when i click the submit button of the first one, i insert in the database and then redirect to the second form, and the same with the second and third. But the three insertions must be completed if i want to have a database not corrupted. If the user stops in the second form, for example by closing the navigator, the previous insertion must be undone. I thought two solutions, the first one is using hidden inputs and insert all in the last step, but i don´t like very much this solution. The other one is using transactions, but i don't know how to manage them. Anyone could help me with a suggestion or a link? Zope 2.4.2 ZPsycopgDA 1.0 PostgreSQL 7.1.3 Thanks. Bye. Juan

Why isn't this perl method working?

I have this little perl method: ------------------------------- my $accept_language=$REQUEST->get_header(*name=>'ACCEPT_LANGUAGE'); return $accept_language; ------------------------------- I get this PerlError: 'Usage: Python::PyObject_GetAttr(o, attrname) at /home/zope/lib/perl/Zope.pm line 118. ' Isn't this the correct syntax? I use REQUEST as an argument. Since I can't use 'use Python' in a method I cannot use the other calling-system. What am I doing wrong? As you probably can understand, I'm going to return the accept-language CGI-var as an array to the client, listed in order of preference... Zope 2.5.0 Perl 5.6.1 with ithreads Latest stable pyperl and zoperl (installed after the manual). -- Robin
