dtml-sendmail problem

I try to send a mail to a user from a form. When I type my mail in the dtml-code, there is no problem but when I intend to use <dtml-var name="mail">, Zope generate this error : Error Type: TypeError Error Value: len() of unsized object I have try to use smtphost tag instead of mailhost but the error generated is the same. Is it a problem of proxy,port number, or user's permissions which could'nt send mail, or only a syntax error?? If somebody know the answer... hi dirk, if I remember right, popen2 was not a method of 'os' in 1.5.2... so: - look for something equivalent to popen2 in 1.5.2...:-) or - backport popen2 to 1.5.2...:-( or - upgrade to Zope-2.5x ... I ran into the same problem. Then, I just start to do whatever I found and then I discovered that the CMF guys change the following line of the "search" method: <dtml-let results=portal_catalog> the new one should be: <dtml-let results="doFormSearch( REQUEST=REQUEST )"> I changed it and it solved my problem. AWStats 4 and Zope Logging

Just got AWStats 4 to work with the z2.log where version 3 of AWStats would not process the log. Very nice. http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ Now to figure out how to get AWStats not to show my global_css as the top viewed document. AWStats does not seem to like extensionless objects. You don't need to import them like you would in pure Python. You acquire the tools through Zope. "context.portal_registration" will probably get the registration tool in a Python script, for instance. Large file support as default for win32 Zope binaries

Would it be possible for ZC people to publish Zope binaries with Python enabled to support large files, as default or as an optional download, al least for W2K? . I know I have the option to build Python on my own, but on the other hand most of us win32 users have Zope installed on NT/W2K boxes, wich are already known to support large files. Ausum

Problem in ZOPE-MySQL connectivity..dll mismatch problem

Hello, I'm using ZOPE Version 2.0, which is using the Python 2.1.2. Now I want to make a connectivity of ZOPE with MySQL. I've I'm using in Windows 2000 platform 1.. Downloaded the Python-MySQL Interface(Version 0.9.0) [MySQLdb] 2.. Downloaded the ZOPE MySQL database Adapter (Version 2.0.8) [ZMySQLDA] 3.. Built MySQLdb(0.9.0) 4.. Installed MySQLdb(0.9.0) 5.. Inflated ZMySQLDA in required directory ***Problems found : dll version mismatch After running the ZOPE server: Following errors are generated 2002-04-23T06:49:32 ERROR(200) Zope Could not import Products.MySQLdb Traceback (innermost last): File C:\PROGRA~1\Zope\lib\python\OFS\Application.py, line 531, in import_product File MySQLdb\__init__.py, line 27, in ? ImportError: Module use of python20.dll conflicts with this version of Python. Anticipations : In C:\Program Files\Zope\bin there is python21.dll which I think the latest dll which the python exe of our ZOPE version is using. After putting it to the c:\winnt\system32 and registering it, the same error is coming. During the run of Zope server __init__ of ZMySQLDA is importing _mysql.pyd which is generating the error as it is searching for python20.dll(NOT python21.dll). I have a python20.dll also in my c:\winnt\system32, its version also does not match with the python exe our ZOPE version is using. I don't know what to do Help required Regards Surajit
