ZCGI Troubles

I'm having a bit of trouble with ZCGI. While I'm no fan of DTML (except when it annoys ChrisW), I think everyone knows it's not going to be killed off any time soon. Gods, I'd hate to think how much stuff we have in DTML - some of it's still in  format. (there's no point going and changing stuff that works)...

Sender = emmanuel.dumoulin(a)sylis.be Recipient(s) = Andreas Jung; zope(a)zope.org; Zope-CMF(a)zope.org Subject = Re: [Zope-CMF] Re: [Zope] [HELP] Portal catalog & Files Scanning Time = 05/22/2002 10:49:37 Action on file blocking: The attachment $RFC822.eml matches the file blocking settings. ScanMail has Moved it. The attachment was moved to D:\Program Files\Trend\Smex\Alert\$RFC8223cebbe112.eml_.

hi there I'm trying to send a users password as email. but I failed to fetch the password. my dtml-method has the proxyrole "Manage". these were the statements: <dtml-var expr="acl_users['<userid>'].password"> <dtml-var expr="acl_users.<userid>.password"> any help? thx daniel

Hi all, I want to add a Zope Page Template at installation of my News product. I've read some articles about this and found the following code : def _createZPT(self, parent, id, title, content): """Add a PageTemplate to the NewsFolder product""" parent._setObject(id, ZopePageTemplate.ZopePageTemplate(id, text=content)) getattr(parent, id).pt_setTitle(title) But what is parent in this context? With other words: What do you fill in for parent in the method call? I get a NameError when I do the following: self._createZPT('News','id','title','content') ( News is the meta_type of my product ) Thanks, Nico

Preventing image caching

My Zope application dynamically creates and modifies image files based on form input. I need a way to prevent these images from being improperly cached by the user's browser. What I would like is to force all images within a certain directory tree to return the appropriate header magic to prevent browsers from caching. Read a temporary file and send it as a attachment

Hello, i have a pdf file (or more), that sends data in the fdf-format to my zopeserver. When i request the body i get the fdf-file in my browser. With the request bodyfile i get the name of a tempfile. Now my problem: How can i "take" the bodyfile, modify the file to xxx.fdf and send it per Email? Please help me Thanks Christian
