Is there any way to get meaningful error messages for python scripts? *Error Type: RuntimeError* *Error Value: Script (Python) calendar_view_handler has errors.* doesn't exactly help me track down the error. there's nothing useful in the backtrace >: (

Watch out for the "-L" option. Thats working: In z2.py set LOCALE_ID="cz" for ISO-8859-2. I dont know scandinavian charset (iso-8859-1?), but you should be inspired with linux/unix locales. Eg., for czech lang is locale cs_CZ, but under Win32 it is CZ only. I have Zope on Win32. ange-ftp to zope 8021 in emacs 21

Is anyone having success with ange-ftp in emacs 21 using the zope ftp server? It worked fine for me in emacs 20.7, but in 21.2, when I try save-buffer, I get the error: byte-code: Keyboard macro terminated by a command ringing the bell I have successfully edited and saved files via ange-ftp with other ftp servers, so it seems to be some combination of the recent version of ange-ftp/emacs with the zope ftp server (and perhaps others). I posted to gnu.emacs.bug, but am wondering if anyone else has encountered success or failure with this combination, and more important, has any suggestions for how to fix it. [Zope-CMF] DC Worflow question

Hello, I am current running Zope (2.5.1) and CMF (1.2) and I have installed DCWorkflow (0.4.2) all under RedHat Linux 7.2. I have defined own workflow and I am using it with almost no problems. I create a file and then push it through the workflow and all works fine until I go to the Status History to see the states it has been in. It show as the transitions that the document has gone through except the initial transition. I would like for it to say that it was "Created" on Jul 10, 2002 1:57 pm instead being blank. Has anybody else run into this problem? I appreciate any help. Thanks. Current state This item is in Approved state. I'm using Zope 2.5.1 and CMF 1.3b2 and noticed that while using scandinavian characters ä and ö ( if you don't see it is a and o with dots on top of them ) there was problems for example in creating links. Example. "Tutoriaalit löydät":http://the_url Would be rendered as it is written. "Tutoriaalit loydat":http://the_url Would be rendered as <a href="http://the_url">Tutoriaalit loydat</a> like it is supposed to be. Has anyone else noticed the same thing or should I write it into the collector? Suppress evaluation of dtml?

Hello, I have a site where people can upload arbitrary html to view it. I do not want these users to be able to execute dtml. I have turned off all permissions for the anonymous users except for view and access contents, but dtml is still evaluated in these html files. Is it possible to suppress all evaluation of content and just act as a web server for certain areas or for certain files? Thnx, VanL

Hmm, this is related to my recent posts, but I am starting to think there might be a better, more reasonable way to do what I have been thinking of doing... Is there a product or method out there that I can simply do this: <dtml-in ParseXML(document)> Where document is already a XML file that is loaded into memory or is passed in through another method and set. From this, I'd like to be able to use dtml-in's and dtml-var to traverse through the nodes and pick out information that I need. I have looked at XMLParse and such, but it seems that they need the XML within the instance and doesn't seem to be able to take something that's already in memory... Any ideas?
