Could you start it by loading an URL instead, using "wget" or "curl"? Xron is a limited product that only allows one thread, but Zope allows several. On the other hand, do you need Zope? CMF puzzlement

Hi all, Just trying Zope and CMF for first time and finding it very hard. My URL is http://pkirk.net.dhis.org/captain and I have the default CMF installed. I can register. But if the new user changes skins, they can no longer clich on the 'Home" link. If they change back, it works again. Anyone know if this is a bug or am I setting up something wrong? Patrick

When I log into my portal and go to the page with the snippet of code shown below, I only see the folders owned by 'admin'. All other folders are missing. I do not see an unauthorized exception. When I say "description field", this is what I mean. If I log into the portal and go to 'Folder Contents' then click the 'New' button and add a 'Folder', I get prompted for an ID and a description. This is the description field I am interested in automatically putting data into. I can enter data into the description field of the current folder using context.setDescription("My description goes here"). Now, I guess I just need to find a way to use that on folders other than the current one. Thanks! comparing dates

Newbie: Ownership confusion

Hello All, Here is what my directory structure looks like: Root Folder - acl_users (contains the following users: admin (has manager role)) - myportal - acl_users (contains the following users: manager (manager role), owner(owner role), member(member role)) - topfolder -- folderA -- lots of subfolders -- folderB --my scripts/forms/html documents etc While being logged into the management screens as admin, I have created a form in root/myportal/topfolder/folderB that will loop through each subfolder in folderA and create a radio button for it. This code presents properties that are defined for each photo. For example, I keep original copies of my photos, and add a 'Disc' property, to tell me what CD the original file is located on.
