Generating a Search Result Page

Hi, Currently, to get things working, I display all results on one screen. I know the users want to see the first 10 results and click for the next 10 and so on. ObjectManager and product instantiation

hello, I wish to know if there is another way than self.manage_addProduct['OFSP'].manage_addNiceProduct(id) to add a product to an object which inherits from ObjectManager ? Problem with Zope 2.5.1, Linux, Permissions of DTML variables

Hello, I have the following problem: If I try to access an particular Object (Folder) in Zope with a login I created and verified personally only minutes ago, I get the following error:  If I do this with an other login which is defined at a higher level of our Zope tree, everything works fine. I had a similar problem with a property which was defined at a higher level (directory) so that some users had no access to it. But the dtml-var title_or_id is no property I think. Right? I've put the first suitable-for-someone-other-than-me release of python director up on pythondirector.sourceforge.net. This is a pure python (async I/O based) TCP loadbalancer/redirector. Why another load balancer? Well, the ones that are out there are just not what I want or need. Python Director's aimed at people who want or need a more sophisticated load balancer than something that just provides a round robin service, and at the same time is manageable without a restart. Note that pydir handles any TCP protocol - not just HTTP. We use it to loadbalance fastcgi fine. Requires: Python 2.1 or greater. feedback invited. FolderFilter Breaks with Non-Manager?

Evan -- I'm testing FolderFilter for a production site. It works fine when I log in as a Manager, but when I log in with a highly-privileged, non-Manager account ("Client" role), I don't see folder content listings -- instead I see teh rendered content. The Client role has *all* privileges, so it shouldn't be a permission problem per se, and this happens on a clean install of Zope2.5.1, so it's not an incompatibility with a local product. If I trim your __init.py__ file down and comment out the filtering stuff, I still can't get Folder views -- as long as the Folder.manage_main= DTMLFile() line is there, this bug happens. Any advice on where to start looking for this bug? Or any workarounds? Thanks! - J.
