Problem with Security tab, at the root

This is the second time it happens, though I didn't have the time to replicate sucessfully what drove me there (cause I was ready to upgrade to 251 at that moment). The only place when this error happens is at the root. I'm not sure at what moment the problem could've happened, because I didn't need to look at that tab for quite a time. Odd problem updating a PostgreSQL DB

Hi everyone, I've been working on a project off and on for a while now and I've run into a bug that has me stumped. The project is a PostgreSQL-driven event database for my school district. I've built a user interface to the database, but there's a problem when I try to update the results of an athletic event. When I attempt to update an event score, it works perfectly unless one of the scores is 0. The SQL update completely ignores the zero value and leaves it as NULL. If I go back and enter two non-zero numbers, things work fine. If I then go back and change one of the scores to a 0, that change is ignored and the old non-zero score remains. Any ideas? I've looked carefully at the code and don't see anything obvious. I can't remember who all is doing it, but I think network-replicated block devices are pretty popular for this kind of thing; I distinctly remember someone on a mailing list mentioning they were doing this with Zope and/or ZEO (might be worth a search of archives, perhaps on ZODB-dev?). I think that in some circles, DRBD is preferred to NBD, but I don't claim to be an expert on that (check out links on the Linux-HA.org site, perhaps). The downside to doing this is that you can't keep two distinct copies of the storage (the last good known copy, and the last replicated copy), since you are replicating at a much lower level. In this sense, you will need to rely on consistency checks alone to get a partially messed-up storage working on the failure of the primary node, and startup of the secondary node resources and IP takeover. Deleted virtual host monster - no access to account

I added and deleted a virtual host monster in my root folder, and now I don't have access to manage my zope. When I go to manage, I get a zope error screen: Resource not found Sorry, the requested resource does not exist. Check the URL and try again. Resource: VirtualHostBase GET arrrggg! Any Ideas? Cookies

I've got a little cookie tool I set up. It lets me view, set and clear cookies. The problem is cookie values have quotes around them that I never asked for. The tool is one page with a form for setting cookies. The form uses the GET method to send the cookie name, value, path, and expiration date. The top of the page has a little dtml-if and this call: <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setCookie(REQUEST.form['cname'], REQUEST.form['cvalue'], expires=REQUEST.form['cexpire'], path=REQUEST.form['cpath'], domain='kefta.com')"> This works marvelously and the cookie values that zope pulls out via dtml look fine. But for other applications and within Mozilla's cookie manager, I see the cookie value has double quotes around it. Is this something I did or is zope trying to help me out more than I want it to?

ZMySQLDA errors

Hi, I have installed zope en mysql correctly, and i want to install ZMySQLDA. I have read the Howto's but i cant find anything. The things i have installed: Zope 2.5.1 Python 2.1.3 Mysql 3.23.51 Mysql-Python (Include MySQLDB) MySQLDA Then i got this error that Zope can't find a file (see below for the error) i have tried putting the files in the directory, and in the product directory, but all these attempts fail. It just won't work. I also have set the MYSQLDB variable on other paths and checked the rights but it still won't work. ZPT: building to column table

Hi list, is there a way to build a table holding two columns of results??? My first try was like this: 1 <table border="1"> 2 <metal:block tal:repeat="result batch" > 3 <metal:block tal:define="resultObject result/getObject"> 4 <metal:block tal:condition="repeat/result/odd"> 5 <tr> 6 <td> 7 left object 8 </td> 9 </metal:block> 10 11 <metal:block tal:condition="repeat/result/even"> 12 <td> 13 right object 14 </td> 15 </tr> 16 </metal:block> 17 </metal:block> 18 </metal:block> 19 </table> Bute TALES does not like the </tr> at line 15 because of illegal nesting. Another try would be to save the odd object in a variable and build the total row in the even run. I could not get this to work, either... i would get errors or duplicate entries on both sides. I guess python works with pointers the same like Java does??? I guess I am stuck (again)... anyone has an idea for me please??? Jochen
