Hallo there, I need to provide my site the feature of logged-in users, i.e.I would like to use hidden form fields storing some sort of identifier so to recognize a remote user after he has first logged in. This to avoid using the default HTTP authentication, which sends username and password in the clear for every request. I know CMF does this using cookies, does anybody know any tools/products/anything using hidden form fields for this purpose? Thanks to all. how to sort with dtml-in

Hi all, Hope this isn't too lame a question: I'm using this construct, right out of the Elvis example: <dtml-in expr="newsFolder.objectValues()"> <dtml-var sequence-item> </dtml-in> The folder contains small text files. How do I get this to sort by "most recently added", so the newest additions to the folder end up at the top? It seems to work in the reverse, by default. regards, --Lars Johannesson

I a trying to figure out what values are stored in Boolean typed properties of a Zope object in order to display information in and retrieve and set information from form checkboxes. What values are actually set/returned in boolean properties?

PDF Zope Book freakyness

I've got a very strange problem with the PDF version of the Zope Book under Windows 2k. If I right click on it and select properties, the properties dialog never appears. Instead the explorer starts sucking down all my CPU cycles. This only happens with this book. The Admin guide shows its properties just fine. I have Acrobat installed, which seems to supply explorer with a PDF Properties tab under the standard properties tab. I'm guessing the ZB PDF is malformed in some slight way and the PDF Property pane freaks out. Is anyone else seeing this? Can it be isolated and fixed for the 2.6 book release (assuming it's not just me)?

Hi All!! I've installed Zope (2.5.1) on Windows and on Linux. I found a problem: I can uplod little file (1-200KB) but I can't upload a file with size upper about 1 MB (I didn't fint the threshold...). Is it a zope limitation? Or just do I need setting something?? Thank you! Cristian.

Please CC the list. If you want to put new images in a page, you will probably need to load them on the server first. Frontpage has FTP capabilities, you could use that facility to upload the images, or just use the ZMI. That said, I'm not sure how ideal Frontpage's interaction with Zope could ever be. Frontpage expects a "Frontpage aware" server to play with so that you can use its features.
