Hello all: I'm having a problem with an external method that executes a heavy process. The action it tries to complete fails, (concretely, split an avifile with divx in several files using avisplit, a tool from transcode package). If the file I try to split is little, all works ok... I use os.system to do this task... If I execute the same code outside zope, all works fine, with big files or less big files... Dtml-tree and subfolders

Hi, I have the following hierarchical contents : FolderRoot ----Folders -------FolderA ---------FolderAA ---------FolderAB -------FolderB -------FolderC -------DocumentX I want to display it with Dtml-tree, so I have written : <dtml-let URL=absolute_url> <dtml-tree expr="Folders" leaves=dtcTemplate sort=title> <dtml-var title> </dtml-tree> </dtml-let> By this way I can catch FolderA, FolderB, FolderC and DocumentX. But I can't go inside FolderA, this is due to URL=absolute_url. What I have missing with Dtml-tree to catch the right URL and so open the contents ? Python Script REQUEST namespace not found.

Hi, I'm trying to write my first python script by passing parameter through the REQUEST object as following: --------------------------- In the Python Script: Parameter: name="world" return "Hello %s" %name ------------------------ in my DTML-Document: <dtml-call "REQUEST.set('name', 'John')"> <dtml-var hello> -------------------------- In this case, I set the name to 'John' in the REQUEST object and call 'hello' object. 'hello' object shall be able to find the 'name' as 'John', but it doesn't The final result after calling the DTML-Document is: 'hello world' Anyone have idea, why the script didn'tt lookup the REQUEST object?

ANNOUNCE: Pound - reverse proxy and load balancer - v0.10

This is to announce the release of Pound v0.10. New in this release: - added required/disallowed headers matching in groups - configurable cyphers/strength for SSL - retry request on discovering dead back-end - configurable logging facility - added configure script - fixed bug in multiple requests per connection (GROUP matching) - (re)fixed missing '~' in URL matching - fixed bug in reading certificate/private-key file What is Pound (from the Web page) - a reverse-proxy: it passes requests from client browsers to one or more back-end servers. - a load balancer: it will distribute the requests from the client browsers among several back-end servers, while keeping session information. - an SSL wrapper: Pound will decrypt HTTPS requests from client browsers and pass them as plain HTTP to the back-end browsers. - an HTTP/HTTPS sanitizer: Pound will verify requests for correctness and accept only well-formed ones. - an HTTP/1.1 to 1.0 proxy. - a fail-over-server: should a back-end server fail, Pound will take note of the fact and stop passing requests to it until it recovers. - a request redirector - it will pass client requests to separate groups of servers, based on required URL and the presence or absence of headers (pattern matching) Pound was specifically developed to serve as a front-end for multiple instances of Zope running on top of a common ZEO storage, but can be used with any other web server. A patch for the Python source of z2.py is available as part of the distribution to allow using Pound's SSL capabilities. Pound is currently in use in several mdeium to large volume sites and seems to be holding up quite well. The speed is well superior to other, equivalent solutions, the configuration is much simpler and the necessary resources (CPU, RAM, disk) are much, much lower. Further testing (especially under heavy loads), improvements and suggestions are welcome. Pound is distributed under the GPL. Logout User

I found this method to logout a user in Zope but apparently it does not work: <dtml-call "REQUEST['RESPONSE'].expireCookie('__ac_czo', path='/')"> The next page containing <b tal:content="user/getUserName">User Name</b> still shows the old user. What is the Zope API to do this from a Python script? Any suggestions why this does not work? Thanks in advance. --Borislav

Tracker Product

I've found the trackerwiki site, with discussions about the Tracker product, but I haven't found anyplace to find the Tracker product itself. Can anyone help? I'm also open to any suggestions of other ticket tracking products I should look at. Thanks Ed

How do I parse a variable to a page_template. My template has a record source, a Z SQL object which takes a parameter.
