Proxy methods chaning proxy roles

I have a method (A) which creates another method (B) to be executed later by Xron. Since it will be executed later the new method needs proxy permission (Xron runs things as anonymous). That means that method A needs to set the proxy role on B. However this doesn't seem to be possible since the security machinery seems to check the users roles not the proxy roles of method A. Can someone help me with this. I just want to run the salescheck sql method and use a field 'OFFICENAME' in the result set in the message. It is a simple task and it's been bugging me far to long. IE error

I've been getting the following screen (page cannot be displayed, so I view source and that's what I've included here) from Zope after submitting forms; or trying to view documents. This happens intermittantly. I can switch to netscape and don't get a blank page, I can see the "500 Internal server error". Right now, I'm using a dtml-sendmail form which is giving me this page ONLY in IE, and if I hit refresh, the proper output appears (no 500 error). An anchor in URL

DTML Question Continued

This is becoming far_more_complex than I anticipated. I would love to be able to do something like this: <dtml-let lang="REQUEST.get('HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE','en-us')"> <dtml-in objectValues> <dtml-let folder=id> <dtml-let langShort=lang[2:]> <dtml-var langShort> <dtml-if expr="folder==lang"> <dtml-var lang> </dtml-if> </dtml-let> </dtml-let> </dtml-in> </dtml-let> but there are two problems here: 1) Apparently I can't slice in DTML; 2) The expression "folder==lang" evaluates the literal strings, not the variables. The second problem is probably far less difficult than the first. The first seems to necessitate I do this as a Python script. That being the case, it seems logical to do the objectValues iteration in the same script. So, how do I do that? Looking at Appendix B, I find *propertyIds()* as a likely method. What would my syntax be? Something like this? for property in propertyIds(): or do I need *context.propertyIds()*? TIA, beno

Dynamic SQL problems.

I'm trying to create a dynamic table editor. The idea is you instance this product, give it the database host, user, pass, database name (Postgres in this case, BTW), and table, and you can edit that table via a nifty web interface. The problem is, I don't know what this table's format is beforehand, so I can't realy make any ZSQL methods for inserting new rows. Does anyone know how to work around this? Thanks, DJ.

attaching images and wav file to email

I am trying to attach images and other binary data to an email. The text attachment works fine. (I would like to hide the following label(s) if possible...
