SimpleUserFolder and sha-crypted passwd

Hi I want to put my old loginmanager to rest and put something simple in. SimpleUserFolder sounds nice, but it seems to do the password matching itself, and since I have sha-crypted passwords, I need to match the passwords in encrypted format. Any ideas? If none, can u please tell me to *not* use SimpleUserFolder(perhaps you have an alternative as well?). For the record; I keep my users in a database. I've released new screenshots, while I'm working at wrapping everything into a product. Released version will use the free version of the javascript menu, but I'm still looking for another free one that has a nice set of features.(Thanks, Charles, for your suggestions, I'll give them a try). Killer features for a user group site?

Hey My question is: What are the best features for a user group website? I'm working an a site for the local Zope user group. I want it to keep it simple and easy to use. Furthermore I want to actively involve the members for content-contribution. Therefore I'm concentrating my efforts on the following elements (in order of importance): Mailing lists, meeting announcements, a few small introductory articles and news items. passing parameters to DTML

Hi I'm new to zope, and have a problem. I have a loop like this: <dtml-in expr="news.objectValues('DTML Document')" sort="bobobase_modification_time" reverse size=5> <dtml-var bobobase_modification_time fmt="%Y-%m-%d %H:%M"> <dtml-var title> (<dtml-var brukernavn html_quote null="">) <dtml-var sequence-item html_quote newline_to_br> </dtml-in> I will change this, so that the last line in the loop are deleted, and the "title" is only a link to the "sequence-item". It works, but I would like to use the attributes as well (html_quote and newline_to_br), and also a heading and so on. How can I pass the sequence-item as a parameter to a DTML method? Or does it have to be a script? How will that look like (I don't know python yet)? www.Zope.org extremely slow (today)

Is it just me or is www.zope.org strangly slow. I'm talking about the manage_* bits here. They are not cached I've understood. I'm trying to upload a little picture to go on my product page, but it times out in all the three webbrowsers I've tried with. DTML objects with a lot of text is not working either. Any way of getting around this? Need to make these changes pretty soon. Peter PS. I'm on a 256k up broadband and all other services seem to work "fast" as usual.
