Lookup parent folder URL and title?

Hi *, Fairly simple question, in DTML I want to display a hyperlink on every page to navigate up one directory in my site, which should display the parent folder's title_or_id and absolute URL. eg. <a href="&dtml-absolute_url;">parent title_or_id</a> I'm not having much luck any help would be appreciated. Clarification regarding acl_user

Hi I am finding problem in controlling the user list in open flow. Hoe to access the acl_user folder placed in the root directory from a sub directory. I have a code which fetches me the user present in the same directory. But I need to access the user present in the acl_user folder in the root directory. I am using a user account which is created in the root directory . Hence i assume that i have the permission to access the contents of acl_user folder in the root directory. looking forward for a quick reply. Harish. SMS using the Yahoo! date-Attributes with no value

Hi, I just wondered if it is possible (without an Python-based Product) to have date-Properties that have no value, but None or some equivalent. I have some Date's in my ZClasses that need not to be set if the class is in a certain state, so I would like to omit the input field in the creation form. But I do have to include a hidden input field at least, to avoid Zope complaining about an incorrect Date-String. Also a hidden field using None as content doesn't work, but this gives me an IndexError. It is not a real problem, as I can define any date earlier than 1970-1-1 to be illegal, but I wondered if it is possible to have some value that renders to false in Python. Andreas -- Cheer Up! Hi, I'm moving from Apache/PHP/PERL to Zope/Python. I have a lot of books and URLs about Python, but i can't find any relevant information about the interaction of Zope/Python. This is to say i don't know how to access and treat data from Zope with Python. Is there some kind of an API for Python/Zope interaction ? Does anyone has some useful links about this tandem ? Thanks to Max and others, I have gotten closer to the final goal. My apologies to those who might be bored by the question... I have defined the Python Script "dsuJudgeSort" (with parameter jlist) as: decorated = [(o.getId()[-1], o.getId()[0]) for o in jlist] decorated.sort(); return [d[-1] for d in decorated] And a ZPT with <table tal:define="sorted_objects python:container['dsuJudgeSort'](here.objectValues('Plone Folder'));" > and get: TypeError: sequence index must be integer Suggestions or help are appreciated. How to avoid Delete option to an ordinary Member when an item is in Published State??

Hi All, I have an item in published state. Creater is an ordinary member. I want to restrict the delete option for ordinary user, when the item is in published state only. How can i achieve this???? I tried to set security settings for Delete in portal_workflow... But its not working.....
