Auto Refresh

Hi, I am try to have a main page to auto refresh every ten minutes. The problem that i am having is to put the client page back to its current position within that page. For example, index_html#middle or index_html#bottom. the meta tag: <META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="600"> will reload and display the current page from the top. It loses the current position like #middle or #bottom part of the current URL. Is there a way for me to do this in Zope using the REQUEST variable or some similar methods? thanks, Mike

Selecting which objects to loop over

Hi, This is a newbie question but I haven't been able to find an aswer either at the ZopeBook nor querying Google. How do I filter objects in the <dtml-in> tag based on some object property? For instance, I want to loop over a set of objects in current directory, like, say all DTML Document objects that have an id (name) that begins with "tab-". I have tried with: <dtml-in expr="objectValues('DTML Document')"> <dtml-if expr="_.string.find(id, 'tab-') == 0"> <p>Object title: &dtml-title;</p> </dtml-if> </dtml-in> But I get a Error Type: AttributeError Error Value: namefind error. Access statistics?

Security: showing link in list but not allowing to click without authorization

Group: We're using Zope 2.6.1 and create a menu in our standad_html_header by doing something like this: <dtml-in expr="ObjectTypes(['Folder','Ordered Folder'])" skip_unauthorized> <a href=...><dtml-var title></a><br> </dtml-in> The structure is something like this: ROOT standard_html_header ... standard_html_footer library (Folder) - public 1 - public 2 - staff_only One of the folders is a 'staff-only' folder. We would like it to appear in the list, but we would like to force the user to authenticate when they click on the link. So, we defined a user, 'viewer' that has exactly the same privileges as 'anonymous' and then gave our standard_html_header document the proxy role of 'viewer'. Then we removed the view permission and access contents permission from anonymous within the staff_only folder. This appears to work as expected. Here's my real question: why did we have to go through this? From reading the zope book, etc., you would think that all you had to do was to remove the view permission from the staff_only folder. Is it because the standard_html_header is acquired from the root folder and so brings with it security information? -- Benjamin J. Create object from path

Hello, I want to build an object from its path (string). In pseudo-code, it would be something like that: obj = makeObject('/mySite/news/news06172003') print obj.getId() ... assuming that news06172003 is a document located in /mySite/news. Hi, Thanks for everyone's help with this. I managed to fix it by rejigging the way my results were called, as I'm using ZPT with macros for the displays. Instead of retrieving the record in the macro, I moved the retrieve out, and just used the macro for the display (would be better for reuse anyway, I think). So the record just inserted can easily be retrieved just using the same SQL statement. INSERT INTO suppliers etc.. <dtml-var sql_delimiter> SELECT * FROM suppliers WHERE supplierid=last_insert_id() Works fine.
