It looks to me like you are leaving the 'id' form field blank, or, if this is a custom form, you do not have an 'id' field. If you created this html form, then add a text input field like this: <input type="text" name="id" id="id" /> This should allow you to submit the missing id. Using external python functions from TAL

I have been playing around with TAL, and external python products. I have no problem calling external python methods on an object using the root namespace variable "here". as in : <td tal:content="python:here.foo("></td> or on some other object that I find through that root. as in: <tr tal:repeat="object python:here.getObhectsList()"> <td tal:content="python:object.foo"></td> </tr> But I have no idea how to access a random function that is not an object method. For example, I would like to be able to have a module called MyProduct.Functions, containing a function foo(), and call it like this: <td tal:content="python:MyProduct.Functions.foo()"></td> How do I get access to this name space?

I created an addon Product that patches the prev and next methods and has another view. It works together with the OrderdObjectManager. So I can order the Photos. TTW + ZPT (with traceback)

Hi , I need some help on the following problems i am facing. a) See as given in documents on TTW, about the usage part, I follow the process. I go to portaltypes and add TTW Type information. Where I give the title and define the fields. But the problem is when I try to add a ttwobject in plone, I get the error message "parameter.id was ommitted from the request". Zope hang with some python version

hello, I've experimented some problem with the latest debian zope packages. When using some products, Zope starts correctly, handle connections but never responds to request (no 'connection timeout' message, the browser wait indefinitly). I've done some investigations and it seems to be due to the python version. When running the debian zope package with the python distribution shipped with the binary zope package from zope.org, it works fine. filtering Photo objects in Photofolder - View

Hi all, I'm using the Photo Folder product and it works fine. Now I want to filter the objects in a Photofolder. I've added a metatag to each photo object. Filtering the thumbnail page isn't hard. How can I resolve 'PREV' & 'NEXT' filtering with the metatag? If I use if - elif -else - /if 'PREV' and/or 'NEXT' are not shown if they have an invalid metatag. Is there a solution to this?
