Hello all, Stuck on this one... Suppose I have the following directory structure - /folderA/folderA1/folderA1a/folderA1a1 For one of the above folders I've defined a property 'rootfolder'. Is there any way I can tell which one of the above folders is the target folder, i.e., contains the property 'rootfolder'? My page may not be located along the above path, but I can acquire the value for 'rootfolder'. Not sure if I'm making sense... TIA. Regards, Samir

hi all, can anybody tell me what happens/happened to collecor issue 897? http://collector.zope.org/Zope/897 >> SESSIONS are lost after several minutes or even after several seconds on our site in the beginning everything seems to work fine (login, shopping cart etc) but if we try long enough one moment the session is lost and we get a new session: so we're logged out, the shopping cart is empty etc. tested with zope 2.6.1, ie 6, temp. cookies is there anybody else experiencing this problem? is there anybody working on that problem??? this is really a big issue if you try to keep a user logged in ... :-( thanks for your help seila -- COMPUTERBILD 15/03: Premium-e-mail-Dienste im Test -------------------------------------------------- 1. yet another POSkeyerror

Is there a howto on locating POSkeyerrors? and to delete the missing object-reference? I keep getting this error, and I am not able to lacate the object causing trouble in the ZMI. Everything runs smooth for a while, but after some days, zope crashes and refuses to start unless fsrecover is run on Data.fs I have, however a sneaking suspicion that this has something to to with a zclass being changed outside of the running zope, and copied back into my zope. I am unsure how the instances of this zclass would react to this. Z SQL and python script question

Hi, I'm trying to join or add two text boxes from a Zope web page to use in a postgresql database search. I have written a python script that adds the two strings I'm passing for me and am passing the to strings to the sql query but am unsure how to call the python script from the sql statement. how to skip duplicate zsql results?

i have a simple zsql (select * from table) which returns a list of items. The problem is that it returns identical items. Ie 1. item 1 2. item 1 3. item 2 How can i make it skip/omit the second duplicate entry. Using MySQL from a product

I amd creating a product, that needs to communicate with MySQL (inserting/updating records and making select queries). I've installed MySQLdb and Z MySQLDA and can easily create connections from ZMI. I don't know however, how to communicate directly with MySQL from my product. Should I rely on a connection created in ZMI? Or do I create my own connection - if so: how? And how do I make the queries? - Carsten
