Proxy Error

I have suddenly started getting a 'Proxy Error' msg when accessing my Zope site which uses Apache to redirect specific requests to Zope. I can access other virtual hosts running hosted by Apache, and I can get to my Zope site if I specify port 8080, but for some reason just http://www.myzopesite.org/ returns a 500 Proxy Error reason: Host not found Can anyone suggest what is wrong? It would appear to be an Apache error. Can anyone suggest where I look for the source of the problem? -- John

Can two Zope installations interact?

I have two sites that really need to be on seperate servers for both load balancing and security purposes. However, it would be a great benefit to myself and my users if I can have one Zope installation interact with the other installation so that I can automate some user processes. I still want these machines to be seperate and their users to maintain server-exclusive permissions. I just want the Zope A system to have access to some resouces on the Zope B system when dynamically generating some pages so that I can automate these processes in the background. To make the question more specific--if that helps--I would like to have one server run a script that accesses ExtFile objects in one particular Folder on the other server and create copies of those objects on the calling server on a timed basis using something like the Xron product. Should/could this be done with an external method somehow? I figure this is the most likely avenue available, if at all. Or will I need to wait for ZEO before I can pursue a solution for this situation? Thanks for any help offered! -- Ryan T. Problem with ZPsycopgDA

I am running 2.6.2 with python 2.1.3 on this new Debian box we brought two days ago. I have another server running this setup perfectly and for some reason I cannot get passed this error. request object not including querystring args

Can anyone tell me why the first script is returning None for request.get('argClsRecId')? Script: request = container.REQUEST response = request.RESPONSE print request.QUERY_STRING print request.get('argClsRecId') return printed Request URL: http://localhost:8080/scripts/actAddSubjectReport?argClsRecId=159&argStuRec… Output: argClsRecId=159&argStuRecId=2288 None But if you try this script: request = container.REQUEST response = request.RESPONSE for x in request.items(): print x[0], x[1] return printed argClsRecId and argStuRecId are there (along with all the other things). ZSyncer Problems

Hello all, I have two machines on a local network using the latest version of ZSyncer. one machine is a redhat 9 box with zope 2.6.2 and the other is a mandrake 9.2 box with zope 2.7.0. When using ZSyncer from the mandrake 9.2 box everthing works fine, but when trying to go from the redhat 9 box i get the following error... ------------- There was a problem with that comparison. add user problem

Hi, I have a PythonScript for add a new user in acl_users. It makes: context.acl_user.userFolderAddUser(name,password,['Manager','Owner'],[ ]) The new user is created, but I can't with this name loggen. ST LDAP Manager setup fails

Hi there, system setup: ============= OS: Linux www 2.4.20 #1 / Debian 3.0 ZOPE: ver 2.6.2 Product: STLDAPManager 1.06 Problem description: ==================== After untaring the product and restarting zope, adding an instance of the STLDAPManager fails with the following message: Error type: NO_SUCH_OBJECT Error value: Description: No such object Additional Info: Searchbase: , Query: (objectclass=*) I tried to add an instance in the same directory a LDAP user folder exists. All DNs were set to ou=public,dc=company,dc=com The LDAP server is localhost and works fine, generally. All other options stay default. Question: ========= How can i fix that? I have no idea, since Google, Google Groups and README.txt/INSTALL.txt returned no further information. Thanks for any affort to help me and best regards, Malte.

Zope Install Error Win32

I have received an error after installing ZOPE on a Windows NT server and trying to connect via browser. "PythonService.exe: Entry Point not found" "The procedure entry point RegisterServiceCtrlHandlerExW could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll" Am I missing a dll or need to update it?
