Hi ! I installed this tool for better development. But I have a problem with it. When I click on index_html, or any dtml, I got good result. But when I want to edit a Python Script, or other elements, they are showed in the browser, not in the local editor. I tried it in Opera, Firefox... Same result I got. How to suppress this automatic content showing ? Thanks for your help: dd

lipo error in comiling zope 2.9.4 on Mac OS X 10.4.7

Hi, using Python 2.4.3 installed via package on a Mac G4 with OS X 10.4.7. Any ideas what throws this error? Is this possibly a problem with a gcc for the g4 architecture vs. one for the new i386 architecture? Any suggestions most welcome! Localizer/TranslationService question

Hi, Does anyone know if Localizer requires iTools/iHotFix to work with Zope 2.8 if I only use MessageCatalogs (and not plain files) ? Hei, I'm looking for information about the use of Zope at universities. Most large universities have a very heterogeneous infrastructure and I guess many of them utilize Zope in a way or another. I'm looking for references to universities where Zope is part of a central strategi or in other ways plays an important role for several of the web sites at the university. Foreground, but not debug.

Is there a way to run zope in the foreground, but not in debug mode? Debug means that it runs very slowly, and I want to run it under the control of a supervisor (runit). zopectrl -fg doesn't seem to recognise the zope.conf setting. I'm new to zope, but it seems to do what I require. Thanks in advance. R.

Problem generating Transfer-Encoding: chunked

Hi All, I'm in the process of writing a python script that goes through a long list in batches and outputs its progress to HTML. (Zope 2.7.5 behind Apache) The result is not what I expected: instead of returning the results in small chunks, Zope (Apache, gremlins?) rewrites the output and returns much larger sections of data. If I remove the Transfer-Encoding header and replace it with a fixed Content-Length, I can see that my script outputs its chunks as intended... Can anyone offer suggestions? I am *guessing* that it looks like <dtml-var text html_quote> or <dtml-var text html_quote=1>. Remove the html_quote attribute and you should be OK.
