VHM and proxypass (again)

I have put a VHM in my root-folder and i have these proxypass-rules in httpd.conf for apache: ProxyPass /test_fak http://localhost:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/mymachine.no:80/test_fak/ ProxyPass /hf http://localhost:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/mymachine.no:80/hf/ ProxyPass /zope_info http://localhost:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/mymachine.no:80/zope_info/ ProxyPass /testing_fakultet http://localhost:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/mymachine.no:80/testing_fakultet/ ProxyPass /postjournal http://localhost:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/mymachine.no:80/postjournal/ ProxyPass /Control_panel http://localhost:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/mymachine.no:80/Control_Panel ProxyPass /misc_ http://localhost:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/mymachine.no:80/misc_ ProxyPass /p_ http://localhost:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/mymachine.no:80/p_ This works ALMOST perfect. I have two issues: when inside ZMI, i get something like this:http://mime.hf.ntnu.no:8080/test/wrong_ZMI/ 1: so I guess i have a wrong redirect for my zclasses icons. AND 2: The stylesheet for the ZMI is not loading. What can I do to fix this? I fixed it once by adding a siteroot, but that totally screweed up my webdav connections (duplicating folders and files), and is not an option. Zopelabs.com problems?

Hi , does anyony know what's the problem with the Zope Labs site? (I don't know who is the owner of the domain, that's why I post on this mailinglist.) Yesterday I got a page saying the domainname is expired, today the domain isn't found. Is it a technical or financial problem? .. I would hate to loose this source of information (and scripting examples). Ria Marinussen

Newbie: running Zope for the first time - Linux

I have installed and runned Zope and Plone under Windows. However I'm new to Linux and Zope under Linux. I have done this: 1) installed Linux 8.0 which is working OK. 2) d/l zope-2.6.1-linux2-i386.tgz 3) decompiled and installed zope with directions of the Zope Book and the Zope Bible 4) mv the installation to: /usr/local/Zope if I run the ./start script I get: 1) ZServer HTTP host:AomServidor port:8080 2) ZServer FTP host:AomServidor port:8021 3) ZServer PCGI usr/local/Zope/var/pcgi.soc 4) z2 STARTUP EXEPTION: file /usr/local/Zope/z2.py line 84 - a user was not specified to set uid to; fix this to start as root If I try to access Zope Management console with http://localhost:8080 or http://127.0.0.1:8080 or http://AomServidor:8080 i get: 1) The connection was refused when attempting to connect to http://........:8080 I'm sure it must be some permissions or config problem, but my Linux knowledge doesn't let me fix it. After poking around my system I discovered that my hosts file was modified early this am. The ip/hostname mapping must have been cached in my browser untill I did a refresh. Now to find out why the host file changed... ZPT rendered output formatting

Hi Can I have any control over how ZPT formats the html it produces? Specifically, source like this: <p><img tal:attributes="src here/pic/absolute_url" title="a piccie" width="24" height="45" border="2" vspace="2" /></p> ends up like this (one line): <p><img title="a piccie" width="24" height="45" border="2" vspace="2" src="http://localhost:8080/temp_folder/pic"></p> and sometimes, source like this: <img tal:attributes="src here/pic/absolute_url" width="10" height="12" /> renders like this: <img src="http://site.com/pic" width="10" height="12" > Any pointers, please? Content delivery without Zope

Hello, I would like to export a site from Zope to a Web server where Zope is not installed. In this model, Zope is used for the... - creation - management - publishing ... of the content, while the delivery is performed by IIS or Apache. Download issue

Hi!, I am new to Zope. I tried downloading the latest stable release of Zope for windows and followed the instructions. But nothing seems to happen when I click the download link (the .exe file) Any suggestions? Thanks... Roy.
