AWStats and ZCGI installation

Hello, I can't get AWStats and ZCGI to work on Zope 2.6 / Windows XP. I pu the contents of the uncompressed cgi-bin folder in C:\Program Files\myzope, copied awstats.model.conf into awstats.myzope.conf, and copied the icon folder into C:\Program Files\myzope. I found a post (http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Message/1253535) that said to do this: -Install ZCGI -Copy the cgi-bin directory to the root of your zope installation, making sure the .pl files are in the root /zdirectory/cgi-bin -Restart zope -From the zcgi product you should have the extension mapping object in your root and check that pl is set and present on your system. -Next create a ZCGI script called awstats.pl -Make sure that your /zdir/cgi-bin/awstats.conf.bak is renamed to awstats.conf and edited correctly to find your zope logfile: /zdir/var/Z2.log I did that but I don't know how to check whether pl is set and present on my system, and didn't see a file called awstats.conf.bak. Help with tal:condition

I newbie and need some help figuring out tal:condition. I was able to seperately get two tal:conditions to work on my plone site. However I haven't been able to figure out how I can 'or' the two conditions together. Can someone look at the conditions below and tell me how I can "or" these two together, so I can use in a single div tag. tal:condition="not:here/portal_membership/isAnonymousUser" tal:condition="python: (here.portal_url()!=here.aq_parent.absolute_url())" Thanks, Steven

Zope debugger root variable?

I am stuck on a minor problem that someone here could probably help me with. Need a way to prevent new members form subscribing DIRECTLY

Hi all, Is there a way to delay the subscription of new members to a Plone site? I would like to put new members on "pending state" and then give the manager the ability to either approve the subscription or reject the subscription. Is there a way to do this in Plone? Is there a product available to do that? -- Jean

How can I customize the advanced search form of a plone site?

Hi all, I was wondering how to customize the advanced search form of a Plone Site. I've edited/customized the "search form" file in portal_skins/portal_forms. I actually don't want users to see all the content types checkboxes available but only a few ones. The code that renders the list of (content types) check boxes starts with: If I simply replace this line by the following: (which actually only strips the list to its four first elements), the search form doesn't behave correctly anymore: it seems to always search in all the content types, even if the user has unchecked them all..? Do you know why this is behaving like that? Do you know HOW I can pick only a few content-types from this list to display? -- Jean

If the image object is called "image", then you use "image.title". To get HTML that shows the image, you can use the tag() method: "image.tag()" It will set the alt to the image title automatically. >From DTML or ZPT you do this by just calling the image. <dtml-var image> or <img tal:replace="here/image">

You could perhaps download the source and install it in your python path (I don't know if this works because I use linux)
