htmldoc problem

I am using the following external method to write pdf files. import subprocess def html2pdf(self,source): f=open('/opt/scholarpack/ancillary/pdf.html','w') f.write(source) f.close p=subprocess.Popen(['htmldoc', '--webpage', '/opt/scholarpack/ancillary/pdf.html','-f', '/opt/scholarpack/ancillary/mypdf.pdf']) p.wait() When I do this the html is truncated and an incomplete pdf is generated. However, if I rum htmldoc in a terminal on the same html file then the ouput is perfect. Can anyone see where the external method may be going wrong, apart from the formatting that kmail is enforcing on this code snippet!? Regards Garry

Problem w/ ZMySQLDA

Hi; ? I just built out a new server and transfered my databases. I use Zope to server my web sites and ZMySQLDA to interface between the two. Everything seems to be fine. I can see the databases, the tables, the columns in the tables, the permissions are correct, etc. I hook up ZMySQLDA and that seems to be fine. It connects to the database. However, when I go to look at the pages from served the database, the browser hangs. Any ideas how to troubleshoot this? ? TIA, ? [TextIndexNG3] Extension modules now available as eggs

For all TextIndexNG3 users having had problems with the installation of the extension modules (on Windows)...there is now some relief. The extension modules are now available as an egg. So on any operating system you should be able to install the extensions using easy_install zopyx.textindexng3 The egg also contains some new stemmers for Turkish, Hungarian and Romanian. Zope 2.10.4 Upgrade

I recently upgraded from Zope 2.10.0 to 2.10.4. However, the Zope instance still reflects 2.10.0 in the control panel. I installed Zope 2.10.4. Then, in my instance, I changed the variables in 'zopectl' and 'zope.conf' to reflect the new 2.10.4 version and restarted. Did I miss a step? Thanks in Advance, Dave

I have a site, in a folder called 'kb' you access it via http://webserver/kb it has a knowledge base. Inside this, is the index_html and I have some search pages... ---F_problemsearch--- * a form for searching. I type in my search, click "simple" and the URL changes to this: http://webserver/kb/ProcessSearch?problem=new&st=Simple I'd like it to use the files in '/kb/review' before using the files in /kb and I thought that's what acquisition did (index_html behaves this way!) however, it's not doing it correctly. The only way I can get it to properly work is by changing the URL to this: http://webserver/kb/review/ (adding a trailing slash). This website is used internally by users who will be manually typing the URL. Hi all! I've developed a site that if you are not logged in renders in a way but if you are logged in renders in another way (with more functionality) I would like to create a logon form and the validate the user in an AJAX way Where can I read about it? Or where the acl_users code is located? Good morning! My web site utilizes forms pretty extensively, and I've been trying to figure out how--on one particular form, an admission application--to bcc all copies to another address. Depending on which campus the applicant chooses, the app is emailed to a different person; the program director wants to receive ALL the apps, without the other recipients knowing. But I just can't seem to make it work. Of course, that might have something to do with the fact that I'm not a programmer, which is why I'm asking for help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Hello, after importing a product from zope 2.6.4 to a 2.10.3 instance, trying to open the product produces quite a lot of errors in my event.log, and a traceback in the zope management interface. I found a lot of mails regarding plone upgrades which report a similar RuntimeError.
