https with 2.5.1

I've recently upgraded from Zope 2.3.2 to 2.5.1 (FreeBSD 4.3). Previously, I was able to fetch and parse https:// pages using KebasData. Now I can't... I have read some posts regarding SSL, patching urllib.py, and M2Crypto, but I never had to do anything special for this to work with Zope 2.3.2. More to the point, these solutions do not seem to apply to Zope 2.5 on a Unix-like os. I would also like to upload https:// documents into Document Library, which also doesn't work. I'm bummed.. Any ideas?

Re. the comments on non-usefulness of multiprocessign with zope: I run zope on a dual pentium VA Linux server and the second process gets seriously used whenever the system is busy. It's quite possible that zope itself is using just one CPU (I didn't bother to check), but as there is lots of other stuff that makes up a running system (including apache in my case), the second processor still is very useful. Thanks but the issue is centered on finding the objects for the ZCatalog itself. Yihaw objects within Yihaw Folder do not show as an option to find. I have to "Find objects of type: = All types" to have the Yihaw objects become cataloged. (Yihaw News Item, Yihaw URL, etc...) My dilemma is having too many items cataloged and having to remove the reference in the catalog later. My search engine was designed to show only Yihaw objects contained within a Yihaw folder. i.e. Results presented show number of objects found and corresponding links. If the catalog has non-Yihaw objects that meet the search criteria, then the objects found is out of sync with links presented. Unfortunately I have a ZOPE 2.3.3 site and "Yihaw Folder" is the only metatype to choose. Yihaw objects contained within the "Yihaw Folder" are not listed. Checking zope userfolder root

Can this be done from a script? Lets say you have the following directory structure: ROOT/A/B/C/D/E user TEMP is in the acl_user folder in the 'C' directory and hence can log in only at ROOT/A/B/C directory and upwards. lets say he logs in a ROOT/A/B/C/D/E/F I would like to know at which level he was authorized. I am not keen about changing manage user permissions. In otherwords I would like a script that loops back through parents checking to see if folders can be viewed. How can one predict whether a user authorization dialogue will appear. How can one interupt a authorization dialogue from appearing. Thanks Chris

No, that doesn't mean the password has changed. View the sort ;-) The number of stars is due to the placeholders put in so the method can tell whether you have changed the password or not next time you hit that save button. Disable the z2.log

I am fronting Zope with Apache and I believe the apache logs will do fine for all of my logging needs. I've looked over doc/ENVIRONMENTS.txt and doc/LOGGING.txt but haven't found an easy command line option to just get rid of the z2.log ... except for setting it to /dev/null ... The option that I am considering is to remove the stupidFileLogger from the loggers tuple.
