Well there is propably nothing wrong with Zope. Just that the IP ( really cute 123.456.789.000 ) is not accessible from the real internet ip-space. The conference will include two days of papers arranged in 90 minute speaking slots with either one or two tracks. The audience is highly technical and will include experts in many fields of computing, some of whom may know little or nothing about Python. Restricting object types in container

I'm trying to build a product for the first time -- please bear with me if I have lots of questions! My first one is: I'm building a container object which is a subclass ObjectManager. The ZDG says it's possible for my object to restrict the types of objects that can be contained within, but the example given to set the meta_types tuple doesn't appear to work -- instead, it appears to add an entry to the available objects list rather than exclude all others. Does anyone know of a way in which I can explicity declare which object classes can be contained within a container class in Zope 2.5.1? Thanks, -- Michael S. You might be better off to filter squid's logs into compbined format before analysis. take a look at: http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=a6pq1i%2411lj%241%40FreeBSD.csie.NCTU.e du.tw&oe=UTF-8&output=gplain You may need to copy/pasted & base64 decode the attachment in that URL (it is a perl script). The downside to this setup is log files with log_mime_hdrs can grow relly big really quickly on a big site, so watch your rotation (Squid does not support the LFS API). Page Templates in products

I'm pretty new to playing around with products, but a common thing I see in products is: from Globals import HTMLFile product_addform = HTMLFile('www/addform', globals()) So my question is, is there a way to do a similar thing with the source of the file being a page template rather than DTML? Zope and WebSphere

Hi All, I have a client who currently uses WebSphere to host all his stuff, using jsp and JavaBeans. What are the options to have WebSphere and Zope happily live next to each other? Does WebSphere use Appache, or does it have it's own webserver? Thanks for any advice, Douwe Osinga

Have you considered the possibility of a firewall/router blocking port 8080 somewhere between point A and point B? Hi! I'm new to Zope. I've been working on it for 5 days and set up a web site on it. It works well on my machine(I have a static IP but not a domain name yet). Zope Sessions in 2.5.X

Where are the most current docs for Zope Sessions? I've tried google and zope.org and get lots of references to older stuff (pre 2.5.0). Things I am trying to find out are ... Where/how to set the session timeout? How to change the session managers behavior (use cookies vs. url vs. other)..
