hello, I am still trying to enhance load_site.py to create zope page template files for files with suffix .zpt . Tiny Tables view problem - win 32

Hello ! i'm trying to use tinyTables with a zope server under win 2k but every time i add a tiny Table, user Anonymous can't see it ! it shows the login box ... and then say i can't access this object ... when using the same method on a linux server, it's working just fine .... any issue ? thx a lot ! When our_score is zero, the test fails, since 0 is the value for a logical "false". Besides Evan's suggestion, you could convert to a string for the test - <dtml-if "_.str(our_score)"> But this would fail if the variable "our_score" did not exist. IT IS THE BEST THING to search archive for your name! So I today make 3 new catalogs + have one from last week with different settings and try many methods found in first half of 200MB mailinglist archive (If I will have spare time, I will search the second half :). www.zope.org\Members\Zen\howto\AdvZCatalogSearching So that code with little debug and tweak works. Maybe this will help to somebody: <dtml-in "zaprdek3(bobobase_modification_time=_.DateTime() -60, bobobase_modification_time_usage='range:max')">60 days old item: <dtml-var "zaprdek3.getpath(data_record_id_)"><br> </dtml-in> And third version zaprdek3 (in english fouled egg) :o) of catalog works: Add ZCatalog, go into, klick Indexes, select&delete Principia..., go back, klick FondObjects, select DTML Documents and Files, at last field select View (dont touch anything else fileds!!!) and submit. After Total CPU time: 21.467491912368132 (2002-09-16 13:39) zaprdek3 contains 176 record(s). If you dont delete Principia, CPU time will be taken 15x more. ZClass question - array of arrays

Hi, I'm having a little bit of a problem working out what ZClass property I should be setting. I want to record an array that can either contain strings or more arrays. eg: It can be ['a', 'b', 'c'] or ['a', ['b', 'c'], 'd'] or [['a','b'], ['c','d'], ['e','f']] The problem is that I can't work out what property type I should be setting this to be. I tried tokens, but tokens won't allow arrays to be saved, and both lines and strings assume that there will be a string (obviously), which means that I have to do a lot of splitting on [ and , before I can work with the data. The whole idea of the property is that if there is a scalar in position X, it shows the scalar, otherwise with an array, it shows a random value from that array. Is there an obvious type that I am missing? Thanks Dianne

Newbie needs a little help (Dynamic SELECTS and Formulator)

Hi, hope someone has the patience and skill to give me a nice answer on this... The situation is that I want to make a form for entering data into a database, - There should be 3 SELECT:s on the top which should give some properties of the entered data. - I The trick is that these SELTECs are dependent on each other. ie. Selecting alternative 1 from the first select should (by using ONCHANGE) change the possible alternatives of the second box. - The alternatives are easy to extract from the database and I have a ZSQL method for doing that, but my problem is getting the thing to work in Formulator. - I have a method that returns the item list for Select 2 accepting as an argument the current selected value of Select2, but I cannot seem to find the way to pass this value from the Form. Whatever I do in Formulator I end up with an undefined variable. Surely this way of doing dataentry cannot be that unusual????
