Meta types icon (URGENT)

From an object you can get its icon by doing print someobject.icon What if I only know a meta type (as string), say "DTML Method" and what I want is "/misc_/OFSP/dtmlmethod.gif" I looked at the filtered_meta_types() method but it does not provide this information. hi, keep the discussion on the list... maybe others will be interested too. The official supported Python for Zope is Python 2.1.3. Running Zope with Python 2.2 is not recommended for any production environment at all. Hacking filenames in http headers?

Hi! I'm using a DTML method to get an XML view from a ZClass object. What I'm trying to do, is that when the user requests the address: http://www.mysite.com/Objects/MyObject/xml he/she gets an xml file with the ID MyObject.xml so that he can save it cleanly in his filesystem (or open it with his browser), so that he/she doesn't end up having thousands of files called simply 'xml'. I've thought that a header like: <dtml-call "RESPONSE.setHeader('content-type', 'text/xml')"> could be a solution if HTTP protocol would have it... But I also think that it wouldn't be very clear for HTTP protocol to have one filename for the URL and a different one for the reply to the user. Any hint? Thanks!! LocalFS upload and delete

Hello all. I'm using DTML with LocalFS to manage files in a site. Is there a way to upload and delete files to the LocalFS object via DTML? Or is there another way to do this to tasks? using getitem()

Yes, I have done it with the CMF version of LDAPUserFolder. The key was to use another tool (Softerra LDAP Browser) to figure out the schema, but after doing that, and making the appropriate entries in LDAPUserFolder, it worked. The only thing I tried was authentication. I did not try to get groups or other properties. Unfortunately I have deleted that particular CMF instance, so I can't recall what settings I used to get it to work - bummer. I am almost sure that *I* replied to your question in the list! Your problem is that the links for "expand/collapse" do not contain your "uplevel". Someone invented the "urlparam" attribute, but he did not think enough. In almost all cases, the parameter to extend the "expand/collapse" URL is not constant but an expression (as in your case). Your options: * search for the "urlparam_expr" patch someone donated to fix precisely this bad design. Unfortunately, the patch did not make it in the Zope core. * use a cookie to pass your "uplevel" around This is not nice but you need not to patch Zope code. It is this, what I do in my DocFinder product (for a similar purpose to yours). Dieter
