How do you permanently hide the paste button?

How do you permanently hide the paste button after a cut & paste action, but not after a copy & paste? Is there an easy way to hide the paste button after a cut & paste action. I have tried setting the cb_dataValid flag to 0, delete '__cp' or set it to ''. I am sure these aren't good options. setting the cb_datatValid flag to 0 only works when returning to the page after the paste action. The button returns as soon as you refresh the page or go to a new page. Any ideas on what I need to do please. (Running zope 2.5.1 / python 2.1.3 / win2000) Thanks Steve.

Top Ten of most visited objects

Salut everybody, I would like to present the visitors of my site a Top Ten (Top 20 or whatever) of the most frequently visited objects. Is there already a solution floating around in the Zope community? (Would like to avoide re-inventing the wheel.) Taking FSCounter (or any generic counter for that matter), the product I need should: - count the hits on a per object basis - count the hits on a per day (or even hour?) basis - be configurable in respect to what time range goes into the ranking (hits during the last x days) - be configurable in respect to what objects are listed Any hints to existing solutions are very welcome. unicode and forms

Hello I need to have forms in a utf8 webpage and I am currently having trouble with it. I need to decode unicode values from the forms to "normal" strings but I have not found out how to. In IRC, someone suggested that Zope should have unicode support and there indeed is a doc about it in Zope.org ( http://www. zope.org/Members/htrd/wstring/Unicode0.6Readme.txt ). But the same person said that it was probably integrated into Zope 2.6 which is in alpha right now and not 2.5.*. Could someone say, what is the current state of the utf support project? Is it integrated into Zope 2.5.*? Could someone provide any dtml code examples for a utf8-encoded form which is understandable to Zope? Hello zope, hi do i return the lowercase of an attribute? i tried: <dtml-var "_.str(title_1).lowercase()"> and <dtml-var "title_1.lowercase()"> and some others.. but it keeps saying: Error Type: AttributeError Error Value: lowercase title_1 is a property of the folder. thanks, k -- don't believe everything you think

adding user problems

I am having a problem adding a user only to a specific folder. I want the user to have control -only- over that folder so that is the only place where I have entered her. If you are familiar with the example guestbook, I want them to be able to simply delete entries. I have address here in the guestbook folder only, and with "manage" priviliges. dtml-call behaviour

I verified a strange behaviour of the dtml-call tag. As it seems, dtml-call'ing an inexistent method wouldn't produce any error, i.e. <dtml-call bogus> would fail to produce any output or exception. On the other hand, calling <dtml-call expr="bogus"> or <dtml-call expr="bogus()"> would indeed cause an exception -- bogus method doesn't exist, of course -- and can be caught be a dtml-try clause. I'm puzzled, ZopeBook says that dtml-call behaves the same way than dtml-var, but it's not true: dtml-var failes with both syntaxes, when the argument is inexistent. Sounds like some kind of bug. Or is it a "feature"? :-) ciao Guido

CMF Question - Is it possible to have Catalog-Aware folderish product?

I have been trying to create a folderish cmf product which is catalog aware without much luck. Is it possible to do? The new class inherits another folderish product class along with, PortalFolder, PortalContent, DefaultDublinCoreImpl. I have not been able to make the folderish product catalog aware with any of these parent classes in any order. I have also tried skinnedFolder. PortalContent seems to remove the folderish behavour depending on where it is in the "class( parent classes ):" line up. I thought PortalFolder was the answer but that hasn't helped either. What I would like to do, is be able to have new folderish instances catalog automatically when any copy/cut/paste or delete action is done. Any ideas or help on where I am going wrong would be much appreciated. (Running zope 2.5.1 / python 2.1.3 / win2000) Thanks Steve.

Hi All, I have this problem in using ZCatalog. I have the Zcatalog and the folders that contained the DTML Documents in the root. What surprise me was that it shows the absolute url when I did not include _.getitem(mm,1) but display Nothing when included.
