Locked out of root ZMI

I have an zope instance where I try to log into the ZMI and it won't accept my password. The password has not been changed. I can log into other parts of the ZMI where there a folders with their own acl_users folder. It just fails when I try to login to the root ZMI. I'm running site root, OpenSSL, Apache 1.3.22 as a caching proxy, and a few local roles in the intranet folder (a CMF site). Mozilla returns an error "intranet.company.com recieved a message with incorrect Message Authentication Code" Not too long ago, I packed the database. Is it the caching proxy or some other cause?

Forbidden Error: Zope with PCGI under Apache2.0 and Win2000

Hello, I have a problem installing Zope with PCGI and Apache2.0 under Win2000 I copied the zope.cgi file in the apache/cgi-bin/ directory and added the following lines to http.conf: # Zope configuration maps /Zope/ to the Zope.cgi CGI script RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} ^(.*) RewriteRule ^/Zope(.*) C:/Programme/ApacheGroup/Apache2/cgi-bin/Zope.cgi/$1 \ [e=HTTP_CGI_AUTHORIZATION:%1,t=application/x-httpd-cgi,l] (The \ above means that the Rule should be all on one line) Apache starts without problems, but when I type in http://localhost/Zope is always get the following error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /Zope on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. The Zope.cgi script seems to work as I get the Zope Welcome when I go to http://localhost/cgi-bin/Zope.cgi. Just the login will not work because the authentication headers are not forwarded. ZPT - DTML methods and Zope 3

Photo does not regenerate displays

I have a site with lots of Photos that are grouped in a number of Photo Folders. I had one of the folder regenerating all display. Now next to the displays of all the photo "not generated" is displayed. When I try to access the pictures I do not get them anymore. And they are not generated neither. Zoë is V2.51 running unter Linux typing convert on the commandline starts convert so looks as if ImageMagick is working. what could be the problem? Found this in history. - Set up outgoing mail capability to allow for online forms to be sent electronically to departmental lotus notes addresses for processing. No more printing and faxing. A Exchange service id was requested through the bank's email and collaboration services department. Changes then had to be made to Zope internals to allow for passing of userid and password to the secure mail server. (see /opt/Zope/lib/python/Products/MailHost/MailHost.py, /opt/Zope/lib/python/Products/Mailhost/dtml/addMailHost_form.dtml and manageMailHost.dtml -- also smtplib.py in the Python distribution had to be modified) NOTE: This is used on a Zope 2.3 w/ Python separate /opt/Python/Lib/smtplib.py(See attached file: smtplib.py) /opt/zope/lib/python/Products/MailHost (See attached file: MailHost.zip) (zipped on windoze w/ powerarchive) I didn't set it up... I only know it works. You may only need certain files from the MailHost.zip file I sent. Remember to backout in case of backout! Disect the code and change for your Mailserver requirements. MySQL connection dropping

For those of you who saw this on the Zope-OSX list, this is an update on my first email... I have installed Zope 2.5.1, MySQL 3.23.49, and Z MySQLDA on Macintosh OS X Server 10.1.4. I've created a Z MySQL Database Connection, and I have several dtml pages created that are connecting to the database successfully. (I copied these from someone else who has been running Zope/MySQL for years). The problem: The Z MySQL database connection drops as soon as I close my ssh connection (I'm restarting Zope from the command line remotely), and the only way to get it back is to restart Zope. Zope is already running as a background process, and so is the MySQL daemon and they both work fine independantly. I do not yet have them starting up as OS X services. Can someone point me in the right direction on this? Also, I've never been able to restart Zope from the Control Panel-->Restart button. I have to do it always from the command-line. We run a mailserver called "kiowa.bankofamerica.com" (internal only) It doesn't required authentication Another Zope site we maintain hooks to an Exchange server that requires authentication (UID+PW) Ask you Mailserver sa what is needed. I have code that will allow auth. if you need it. I have set up a Mail Host with the correct SMTP server information, but I keep getting a connection refused error. Do I have to run a Mail server on the machine that Zope is running on? Hi I'm a bit of a Zope newbie and I've been scouring various documentations on how to open and print the contents of a file using a python script.
