Hi all, Perhaps this is a Python question, not a Zope problem, but I hope someone can help me. I'm tryng to upload a file from PythonWin Ide (I have setted my Zope-test permissions to anonymous). I obtain a 400 error with this page: "...Invalid request id omitted...": but I don't understand where are my error(s). Can anyone help me? Thanks and excuse if my errors are so trivial... Michele P.S. perhaps a better solution for batch upload is Curl or pyCurl, but I find pycurl has too poor documentation for my level... Has anyone used it?

Symlink product returns "Attribute Error"

Symlink product isn't working for me. It would appear that the problem is that _setObject() call doesn't work, and is unable to find the newly added symlink after it's added. I've looked at the source code (it's a very short product) but don't see anything wrong with the constructor. I assume this has something to do with the deep magic of playing with the __of__ acquisition in the symlink. I'm running Zope 2.5.0. Hi all: I using the following: <dtml-let target="'index_html'"> <dtml-call expr="RESPONSE.redirect(target)"> </dtml-let> But I would like to add variables to the url like this: <dtml-let target="'index_html?me=<dtml-var name>&you=<dtml-var you>'"> This doesn't seem to work the way I would like, is their another way to do this? How can I add a subobject to a container where the subobject id is the same as a container property so that the subobject will be used instead of the the container property? Is this a good idea, and/or is there a better way? class Container(...ObjectManager, PropertyManager...) Now in Zope I add a 'Container' object with id ZContainer and set ZContainer.default = 'The default value.' In most instances this is sufficient, but on occassion is is necessary to get the value of content from a more complex object such as a Document. In such a case I would like to be able to simply add a Document object to ZContainer with 'default' as its id so that when ZContainer.default is called, the contents of the Document are returned instead of the value of the default property. Hi all, I (i am a newbie) have written a simple python script that queries a MS-SQL database and captues the result set into a list. I have called this sccipt in a dtml document and want to iterate through the list elements. When i do this- <dtml-in expr="Python_script()"> <li> <dtml-var text> </li> </dtml-in> where, "text" is the list that is returned by the python scirpt. It says - Error Type: KeyError Error Value: text My question is, how do i iterate through the list and obtain the values from the list. Thanking you in advance Madhavi Bagepalli

Zope and MySQL

We hadn't dabbled with Zope and database connectivity before, so we decided to initially try getting it connecting to MySQL. After some initial problems, we got this working fine with one exception. If our server has to be restarted for any reason, then the rpm of MySQL that we installed stops working (amongst other things, the socket seems to disappear off the server!). So, each time the server is restarted (not very often thankfully), we have to reinstall MySQL. Anyone hazard a guess why it's doing this? Richard H.
