Could this same thing be used to stop a proxy server from caching a page? We have a dtml method (that calls a ZSQL method) that is stuck in someone's proxy server and hits the page once every minute all day long. The resulting query that is showing up in our HitBox listing is for a DB category that is not even in the DB anymore but it keeps executing the same URL. Any ideas? LoginManager form-based login and <dtml-raise "LoginRequired">

In my continuing quest to get LoginManager working for me, I've found that the loginForm needs to be wrapped with a <dtml-raise> tag before it'll display. If not, the basic authentication dialog box pops up. The <dtml-raise> tag seems to cause a stack trace to be displayed along with the login form. I cannot seem to get rid of it no matter what I do. I must have it not show up because my application uses WML and the <pre> tag is not a part of WML (and it'll make the page exceeded the maximum size of the page anyway). The source to LoginManager seems to just "call" acl_users.loginForm() and expect that it raises an exception in order to display a page to the user. Does this mean that there is no way around not displaying the stack trace to the user? Thanks.

ZMysql and MysqlDB

hi there, i had a zope 2.3 installation under suse 7.0 (python 1.5.2) running wonderfully with connection to mysql (don't know the version anymore) now i installed the same mysql-data,. zope-data on suse 7.1. with mysql 3.22.30 and ZMySQL da 1-2-0 and MySQLdb 0.1.2, python 2.0 now i can use the database, so the data and passwords should be correct. unfortunately, if i connect to the database i get the error message printed in the addendum. is it possible, that i have to recompile the MySQLdb ? what else could be the problem? thanks for help olaf addendum -------------------- Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. manage_addDTMLDocument

Hi All ! I'm trying to add a dtml-document to my site, still i am having some problems with the location. If i write something like: <dtml-call "PARENTS[0].DIR.manage_addDTMLDocument(id=pagename,title=pagetitle,file=page )"> It creates all fine : ) BUT... If the location where i want to create the DTML Document, is recieved like a parameter All goes wrong... (something like) <dtml-var location> -> has the string 'PARENTS[0].DIR1.DIR2' which is the place where i desire to create the document.then i try this: <dtml-call "_[location].manage_addDTMLDocument(id=pagename,title=pagetitle,file=page)"> I think this is more a string problem, anyway if anyone had this problem or have any idea how to get over this, i'll be apreciatted thanks in advance regards Nuno

Add python class to Zope.

Hi! I found some python sources which declared "class" inside. I tried to call the function inside this class with external method and python script but it didn't work out. For examples: Guestbook.py class Guestbook: def __init__ .... def signGuestBook .... def feedBack. .. How can I call the function "feedBack" to Zope? Thank you! pattreeya .

Wrapping pre-existing content

All, I'm looking for ideas, so don't be afraid to shout any comments out. I have a hierarchy of 'documents', lots of them circa. 300 and the number will continue to grow (dramatically). These 'documents' could be of any type, XML/HTML/Images etc. What I want to do is to have some way of wrapping these documents to include a header and footer, but I want to do this at render time not before. I've got a naive Python Script (restricted) that looks like this: #=================== import string a=context.restrictedTraverse(string.join(traverse_subpath,'/'),0) if a.meta_type == 'Folder': a=a.default_html h=context.aspire_html_header_orig(None,context) f=context.aspire_html_footer_orig(None,context) c=a(None,context) return h+c+f #=================== However this has problems when rendering the header and footer (h & f), it's somehow losing the namespace and things such as PARENTS are no longer available. Zope/MySQL problem

Has anyone come across anything like this ? I have a site www.tunedb.org which is using a MySQL backend. We are getting this error Error Type : Operation Error Error Value : (1100,"Table 'n' was not locked with lock tables") When anyone submits a search (e.g. Searh by Tune name) This seems to have been triggered when someone dip a query to the site which addressed a results page directly eg http://tunedb.nipltd.net/tunedb/tune_details_results.html?tune_id=23&tune_n… After that everyone gets the error until I restart Zope - (closing an re-opening the MySQL connections has the same effect). I have four MySQL connections open. Hi, I had some problems in the past using zmxodbcda and sql7. What version of sqlserver drivers are you using?
