Hi; Real basic newbie question here. I've got this dtml: <span class="header"><dtml-var header></span> <span class="bar"><dtml-var bar></span> They're both images in the *Images* file (I'm using PTK). Now, *header* shows up just fine. *bar* gets a KeyError. If I change the name of *header* it chokes, too. What gives? TIA, BenO P.S. All the CSS is written in the standard_html_header.

pb : transparent folder 0.3 and ZSQL methods

Hello, I have a (regular) folder on root level with ZSQL methods. I have a transparent folder on root level with a ZMySQLdatabase connection When i manage any of the ZSQL method, i get that : Warning: There are no SQL database connections. You need to add a Zope SQL database connection before you can use an Zope SQL Method BUT test tab works fine, and overall, the ZSQL methods called thru DTML are still working (it didn't broke my application) When i put a ZMysqldatabase connection in the folder with ZSQL methods, suddently, managing the ZSQLmethod brings all the right informations (but with the "new" ZmySQLdatabase connection). So, as all works fine, except the "edit" tab on ZSQLMethod, I tried to look at the "SQLConnectionIDs" to see if i can workaround it but this is (much) over my python knowledge so .... Is it a problem in TP 0.3 or in ZSQL methods ? Any idea ? I'm on Linux, 2.2.4, siteroot, the 3 latest hotfix, and transparent Folder 0.3 ZMysqlDA 1.2.0 PS : i don't know if the problem was there on TP 0.2 because i didn't touched the ZSQL methods for a while (before reorganizing with the Tranparent Folder, which is a great great great (tm) product. Closer But No Cigar

Hi; Well, I've finally got python-1.5.2 installed and running and Zope re-installed from the source code to the point where it gives me the good 'ol *Done!* line, but when I type ./start & it chokes. ZODB robustness

Yo! Hey, I got a few questions and could use the advice from some of you experts out there. First off, a quick background. I'm in the current design and analysis stage of a major new project. What I'm doing is a complete re-write of a venerable Operational Support System - essentially, an n-tier framework that will be the ultimate, back-bone engine ultimately running the whole company. Mission Critical comes to mind... My vision is to implement this thing entirely, from start to finish, thoroughly in an object-oriented model. This is easy as far as the web-application ( our front-end user interface ) is concerned, of course, by using Zope. However, in order to see a pervasive object-orientd design through and through - I'd also like to store all *data* as objects, within an Object Database as well -- rather than the more traditional means of using an RDBMS as the data-store and composing and decomposing complex objects into tables... Yuck. Now, as a ( rather pleasant ) side-affect of choosing Zope as our Web Application Server - it looks like Python will be the choosen language that we'll be using to construct this OSS in. Which leaves every OODB *I'm* aware of out ( they all only support C++, Java and/or Smalltalk ) -- except, that is, for ZODB. So there it is. Can a whole company confidently rely on ZODB as a robust ( I know it's scalable, with ZEO ) OODB solution for a large, highly-active, mission-critical, highly-available, enterprise Operational Support System infrastructure? Storing and serving thousands of objects? For added reliability, I've looked into utilizing one of the custom ZODB storage types - namely, OracleStorage looks like the ticket - rather than the standard FileStorage Data.fs. So please, tell me - am I totally wacked? Crazy? Stark-raving Mad? Should I just use Zope and stick with Oracle rdbms for the data store, or is ZODB truly a viable and robust OODB? Vous devez alors avoir : lib/python/locales/fr/buttons lib/python/locales/fr/tabs lib/python/locales/fr/AccessControl/access.dtml lib/python/locales/fr/AccessControl/addUser.dtml [...] * Dans le Control_Panel (oops Paneau_de_controle) vous avez un onglet de gestion de la langue (fixe ou selon le navigateur) Il reste pas mal de coquilles, de maladresses de rédaction, et de manque de cohérence. More Problems Compiling from Source Code

Hi, I'm trying to recompile Zope from the source because of a module I want to include to better enable MySQL.
