sort_on keyword in ZCatalog searches?

As per Zen's How-To: http://www.zope.org/Members/Zen/howto/AdvZCatalogSearching I have been trying to sort my ZCatalog searches on a FieldIndex: <dtml-in "publicationCatalog(Authors='Kivshar',sort_on='Year')"> <dtml-var Authors>, <dtml-var Journal>,<dtml-var Year></dtml-with><br> </dtml-in> On my 2.1.0 Zope, this search returns empty. On my 2.1.4 Zope, this search returns a list of the correct length but with duplicate entries corresponding to the first match. Year is definately af FieldIndex. Any ideas on the source of this problem? Cheers, Darran.

How do I remove ZClass instances programmatically?

I have built a ZClass that contains another Zclass that I also built. I read the great HOW-TO by tazzzzz describing how to programatically add instances of one inside the other, but I can't find out how to remove them! Is there a deleteInObjectManager method? -Mangus

I'm experiencing the same thing. I have some Digial Alpha's (tru64) running UW IMAP 4.7 and on two systems it works fine, one system (and another test RH Linux box w/ UW IMAP via RPM) we get these INBOX not writable errors. Ita gotta be a flakey imaplib - it may have something to do with the MTA, since on the working Alpha's we are using procmail, and the one bad one is using mail. logic problem

oh by the way you guys have been helping in an excellent way this week. thanks so much. When I use this dtml; if bid, bpurchaseyear, and bdescription are all true. the string ends up being set to 'id,description' It is skipping the bpurchaseyear or taking 'puchaseyear' it out of the string. Detecting which form button is pushed?

I am currently playing with a form with multiple submit buttons and I was wondering the correct dtml way of detecting which submit button was pushed: My Submit buttons look like: ... <input type="SUBMIT" name="create" value="Create As New Record (Copy)"> <input type="SUBMIT" name="edit" value="Edit In Place"> <input type="SUBMIT" name="delete" value="Delete This Record"> ... And I would like to know what is the correct way of munging REQUEST.form to switch on which was pressed. Also is there a way of <dtml-if>'ing on the existance of a variable in the namespace? Python class

I intend to define a term class as a python product in zope, here is the python code : class term: def __init__(self, term, members=[]): self.term = term self.members = members def addMember(self, terms*): for t in terms: self.members.append(t) def listMembers(self): return self.members I do not know how to implement the addMember in Zope: I intend to have this : the user have a drop-down selection to select the term to add members to. And a list of all terms in the current folder is below with check box to let the user to choose (if the form can set the checkbox with the ismember relation is better). How can I do that?
