problem w/images and uploading

I'm having an interesting problem w/images. Or, maybe it is a feature that I don't understand. If I add an image to a folder (call it Test01) and then view the image everything is fine. If I upload a new image to replace Test01 and then view the image it is the same as it was. If I rename Test01 to Test02 and then view the image it is the new image. If I rename Test02 back to Test01 and the view the image it is the original. This happens on Zope 2.1.4 (binary release, python 1.5.2, win32-x86) and Zope 2.1.4 (binary release, python 1.5.2, linux2-x86). Is this a feature? Query about traversal in ZSQL methods...

Hi all, I have a ZSQL method that I've made 'traversable' and URLs of the form http://server/ZSQL_Query/ENG201/show work beautifully. Problem is when I do something like http://server/ZSQL_Query/ENG20/show (ENG20 does not exist in the database). I get a Zope error saying that the resource or page cannot be found. Is there any way of getting around this? So are you saying that although Zope cannot serve SSL it can be a SSL client? I have a situation where I am using zclient to try and retrieve a Word Document fromr corporate extranet via https. I get an error. Error adding a Zclass to a new product

Stange problem I can't figure out... I have a Zope installation for my site. It works fine, except I can't add a Zclass to a product. How to change view of all *.txt?

Hi, Is there a way to assign a handler to some objects based on type or name, similar to what Apache allows? For example, I want to have all *.txt files be processed by a certain external method. Is there any way to do this? Currently, I'm doing it by generating links to my .txt objects that are actually calls directly to my method with the object name as a paramter... It works, but it's a hack. Thanks, Robb

Catalog-aware ZClass not getting indexed?

Hello Zopesters, This problem is mission-critical and seemingly non-trivial. If you've written me off as posting FAQs, I beseech you to read on at least one more time ... My through-the-web-defined catalog-aware ZClass works perfectly through the web interface. Now I'm trying to create instances with an external method. These programmatically created instances are being created but are not showing up in my ZCatalog. Now before you shift your mind back into neutral and (if you're feeling friendly) have your mailer auto-send me the answer to FAQ #27b, continue to read on ... As per the comment in CatalogAwareness.py: Note that if your class or ZClass subclasses CatalogAware, it will only catalog itself when it is added or copied in Zope.
