Hi, I have a dtml method that have some links to a another dtml method. All those links are directed to this dtml method. How can I in this dtml method, know which link call him? Somethings like this Clients link to Products Delivers link to Products How can I in the Products dtml method, know which link, Clients or Delivers, call him? HELP - Zope frequent restarts

Hello everyone, Does anyone know of debugging techniques that are useful to diagnose zope restarts? We are running Zope 2.1.3 and once the load approaches 5 requests/second zope can't stay up more than 30 minutes. I am hoping that there is some code we wrote that is causing these "crashes" but I've found no way to track them down, since when traffic is low we don't appear to have the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is this something we should be looking at ZEO for 5 hits/second? Database transaction

Hi, When adding to a database table I need to calculate the next number from the existing records, increment that number and add the new record using the calculated number. The critical thing is that the transaction must be uninterrupted or two or more users could be assigned the same number. Can this be done with the Zope database connections? I'm using MySQL at the moment but I could (presumably) change to PostgreSQL quite easily. Any other ideas would be more than welcome. I'm trying to call it ala: results=self.GetCat (CatID=str(catID)) where "GetCat" is the SQL Method. zcatalog from external method ?

hiyah zopistas ! For our intranet we have implemented a tweaked version of fsimport.py, to import files that the content-people have made in their wysiwyg-editors. The files (DTML-documents mainly) are imported nicely enough, but they are not indexed in the Zcatalog. My python-skills are still a bit below par, and i cannot figure out how to add the equivalent of <dtml-call reindex_object> in an external method.. anyone out there with a quick solution ?? -- Geir B Hansen web-developer/designer geirh(a)funcom.com http://www.funcom.com

You could use Word to create the report, and even print it. Alternatively, you could learn all about RTF and write an External Method that creates an RTF file. -------------------------------------------------------------------
