Hello all, Suppose I have a directory structure as follows: Main A A1 A2 B B1 Now lets assume that in B1 I want to use a method that is located in A2 and for reasons to lengthy to get into here, I can't move said method to say Main. Any thoughts? Happy Zoping DR

ODBC DRIVER EXTENTION DOWNLOAD ERROR: ---------------------------------------------- The ZODBC_DRIVER_3.1.0b2 ZIP has an extention of *.tgz on the site yet the downloaded file is a *.gz when downloaded. Rename the file with a *.tgz extention and it should unzip and install ODBC correctly. Hi All, I've created a class(with Object Manager Base Class) which has 2 file upload fields in it's add form. When run, I get the following: Error Type: AttributeError Error Value: __len__ Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? can't render html is subfolder (revisited)

Hello all, Can anyone tell me why the following code shows the CODE of the DTML method MainContent.Row instead of rendering the html? <TABLE WIDTH="99%"> <TR> <TD BGCOLOR="white"> <dtml-var titlePage> <dtml-with "MainContent"> <dtml-var Row> </dtml-with> </TD> </TR> </TABLE> I've tried removing the quotes. I get a hasattr error: expecting string, got int. The code, as I show it to you above, changes all of the < and > signs to < and > so that the code can't be rendered. BTW: I've tried MainContent.Row as a document and a method with no change. I've use the command <dtml-var "MainContent.Row"> with no change. The only way I can get it to work is by moving the Row method back up to the root directory. Zcatalog error : FieldIndex doesn't work..

I have a Zclass with a meta-type of newsitem, and a Zcatalog to index them. Searching with Textindex-fields works like a dream , but when i start using Fieldindexes, the troubles begin : When i input stuff into both my author-field(fieldindex) and another field(textindex) in my searchform, everything performs nicely, but when i leave all textindex-fields empty, and only select something in my author-field i get the following return : Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. First pb solved: I had both python installed, original with libs in /usr/lib/python1.5 and 1.5.2 with libs in /usr/local/lib/python1.5 Removing the old one and setting the 1.5.2 to /usr solve Zope building pb. Now next problem: when I start Zope ./start I get: ------ 2079-10-04T14:46:29 PROBLEM(100) ZServer Computing default hostname Traceback (innermost last): File "/home/gilles/install/Zope-2.0.1-src/z2.py", line 430, in ? logger_object=lg) File "/home/gilles/install/Zope-2.0.1-src/ZServer/medusa/http_server.py", line 542, in __init__ ip = socket.gethostbyname (socket.gethostname()) socket.error: host not found I have a stand alone version of medusa, when it starts, the http chanel see my host name incorectly, the ftp channel is ok. It's probably somewhere in the doc/faq/mailing list. Unfortunatly I havent't find the solution until now. Any idee?? Thanks Gilles
