It gives you an option in the installer - just select "run as a service" and it will create a service with the same name as the site name you provide. ZSybaseDA usage on Redhat Linux 5.2 with ASE 11.0.3.3?

Hi all, I just installed Zope and I'd like to start playing, but I'm having problems with the Sybase support. I've compiled and installed ZSybaseDA. I'm using Zope 2.0.0 on RH Linux 5.2 with kernel 2.2.9. I have Sybase ASE 11.0.3.3 installed and operational on the same machine. Your patch looks pretty generic, except for a few items specific to Squishdot such as summaries. I wonder whether it would be straightforward to construct a patch that targeted both Confera and Squishdot? It would be a useful thing to have. I just got zope 2.0 and am installing it now. i downloaded the documentation from www.zope.org (DTML & content management) around the time of 2.0.0b5. Does this documentation include 2.0 stuff or should I wait for newer docs/download from the beta site? thx, ~mindlace

What's the easiest way to take a string property of an object, and eval() it safely, in the namespace of the object? Is it sufficient to take the class DocumentTemplate.VSEval.Eval, and use it? It _seems_ safe enough... Anthony

tags for tree tags?

I noticed that tree attains it's look through the use of tables. I'm attempting to avoid the use of tables except for tabular data, for a number of reasons, not the least of which that I want to appeal to a blind audience. Also, I want to do trees 'backwards': Item1 - Subitem1 + Subitem2 - subSubitem1 + etcetera. What do I need to do to control the formatting of the tables? I'd like to do it purely through css margin-right calls. Thanks, ~mindlace

ZODB transaction ?!

Hi! I'm trying to create a folder and put some images in it. This happens with current b5 version and b1 as well... zClass subobjects

Hi all I just created a class based on a Folder, called MemberFolder, that should restrict users from adding certain types of Product. I went to the sub-objects tab in the zClass and selected the ones I wanted to show. However, when in the management screens for that MemberFolder I get all the Products listed with the ones I selected in the sub-objects tab being shown twice. Is it me or is something broken?
