getting static pages out of zope

Hi, sorry to bug you again, but I don't get any further on this: is there an elegant way to get static pages out of zope? Any ideas? The DTML documents have all their variables stored in properties, so actually it's not a very complex thing. I have thought about using "wget" or so, but the problem is that I only want to save specific files on my harddisk, not the whole system. any ideas will be highly appreciated. cutoff documents using Zope 2 w/ IIS + SSL

Hi - I have a weird problem which I was wondering if anyone might have seen something like this before - it is kind of specific, in particular using IIS and SSL with Zope 2 on Win32. It seems with certain clients (such as Netscape 4.0x, Mac IE 4, etc.), the very bottom part of pages is being cut off when viewed through IIS, over PCGI. Does this sound like an issue with IIS (either with the ISAPI that's doing SSL, or with IIS itself), with the clients which are viewing it, or some combination of both (maybe, most likely)? Has anyone seen anything like this, or have any suggestions as to how to deal with it? Since ZServer serves out the same pages correctly without any problems, I suspect IIS madness - could it be that IIS is screwing with the headers and making a mess of things (I thought of: maybe it's not returning a correct Content-Length?). Something that seems related - unwanted Authorization dialogs popping up upon accessing the part of the site which is accessed via IIS/SSL/PCGI - is this also likely to be something with screwed HTTP headers? This behavior also seems highly client specific. Any opinions or comments? --Brian Hooper

Unexpected transation using Catalog

I have a Catalog which has indexed several properties, and a form where you can enter a property name and a property value. The catalog is searched for objects where the named property has that value. I am searching the Catalog using: <dtml-let content="Catalog.searchResults({index_property:index_value}) "> Unfortunately this search is causing extra transactions to appear in the undo log. This happens on the first search for each pair of parameters, after starting Zope or flushing the cache. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? Thanks, Toby

The behaviour of Versions is something like using RCS with everyone checking out the code into a different workspace. That is, only one person can be modifying any particular object at a time. You can also only be looking at, or working in, one Version at a time. A couple of questions I have: Is it possible to get a list of all objects modified in a Version? Is it possible to revert changes for a particular object only, rather than save/discard all changes for a Version? On a vaguely related note, has anyone thought about doing something with XML Export files and diff? It would be kinda cool to be able to take 2 daily XML export files, and produce a tree structure listing changed objects... Anthony
