Confera 1.2 on 2.0.0

Hello I'm a newbie on 2.0 I have tried to run Confera on the new 2.0.0 zope release and cannot get the search "Search on" only. I get no matches found no matter what. The other problem is if I try to reply to a message I get the following on an error page on submitting the form. Is this because of the incompatibility between 1.10 and 2? If so How can I get/create a fix? I had it working fine on 1.10. Yes you're seeing the incompatibility of the Current ODBC DA with the new transaction machienery. I've got a patch, and as soon as it's tested, we will release a new version (though it will still be "thunked" because of gross idiocy in the ODBC spec)... Zope Newbie Needs Install Help, part two

Hi All - Thanks for all of the replies to my original thread (Zope Newbie Needs Install Help). Basically, when I saw the Zope 2 announcement this afternoon, I decided to start over. I uninstalled beta6 from my Win98 machine, downloaded the Win32 binary of Zope2, and installed it. Double-clicked start.bat, and got some output! (this had never happened with the betas). So, the management screen works...now all I need to figure out is where to go from here! Thanks for the help...maybe I will tackle my RedHat6 boxes over the weekend with the new release. - John john(a)johnturner.com

BTW, my benchmarks on Oracle on raw devices v. file systems shows that on non-RAID that raw is 5-10% faster, but on RAID, it's 2-3x slower... so I don't see this as some huge benefit. ZOPE 2.0.0 rpms: non-RH linux systems

Hi! On a second thought, the rpms at http://www.zope.at/mze/ should work with any glibc2.0 or glibc2.1 based linux distribution that uses rpm. So could the non-RH users interested in RPMs try them out and tell me, so that I can add correspondence links?
