Zeus supports ISAPI, so you could, theoretically at least, use my ISAPI extension DLL (see the archives or http://www.zope.org/ for the announcement). The extension DLL has not been tested with Zeus, although I'd be happy to hear any reports of success/failure. Split the list again?

I think it may be time to revisit the issue of splitting the main zope(a)zope.org list. Proposed sub-lists: zope-install (compiling, installing zope, apache issues, etc.) zope-announce (zope and product announcements, including commercial services, moderated) zope-bugs (zope bugs, what else did you expect?) still having permissions problems

I'm still unable to get this running on port 80. When I start z2.py as root, here's what happens (followed by what I think is proof that 'nobody' should indeed have no problem writing to a file in var) This is using the latest version of select_trigger.py from CVS. Principia ness in Z SQL Methods.

Hi! When clicking the advanced screen on Z SQL Method (Zope 2.0.0a2-src), you see: You may specify a class for the data records. This class must be defined in a file that resides in the Extensions directory of this Principia installation. Class name The imperative here is Principia. Should probably be Z or ZOPE ;) Andreas -- Win95: n., A huge annoying boot virus that causes random spontaneous system crashes, usually just before saving a massive project. Easily cured by UNIX. really really refresh?

I'm playing with zope2 and after using cvs I saw that the control_panel icon looked a bit odd so I copied the version from the a2 release. Pressed refresh, but still saw the odd image. Suspected caching in zope so restarted zope hit refresh, but still odd. Finally shut down netscape and the image got changed. How can I force a real refresh? -- Robin Becker

ZServer logging

I'm using ZServer and Apache+mod_pcgi. Everything works fine, but ZServer logs every PCGI access log: adding channel <PCGIChannel at 83f0bd8> log: closing channel 15:<PCGIChannel at 83f0bd8> How can I stop that ? -Petru

newbie here. i actually posted a couple weeks ago about getting zope running on Mac OS X Server. i never had any luck, but w/ a fresh install of the new LinuxPPC 5 release running i thought i'd try again. just in case anyone was interested, a build of 2.0.0a2 went w/o a hitch and is running w/o incident on a PowerMac 9600/200 through my experimentations today. LinuxPPC is still shipping w/ Python 1.5.1, so i had to upgrade to 1.5.2 first...but didn't have any problem w/ that either.
