Hi, I also experienced the problem this morning when trying to use the product ZPsycopgDA version 2.0.11 on Zope. The error reported by Plone/Zope is: Error Value: psycopg version mismatch (imported 2.0.11 (dt dec ext pq3)) Due to the fact it is extracting the first 5 characters (2.0.1) and comparing it to the full version (2.0.11), thus failing. Instead of changing the index to 6 (which would then break 2.0.8 versions, etc.), you can explode the string by spaces, then extract the first part: so the only change would be to line 119 of DA.py, from: if psycopg2.__version__[:5] not in ALLOWED_PSYCOPG_VERSIONS: to: if psycopg2.__version__.split(' ')[0] not in ALLOWED_PSYCOPG_VERSIONS: No other changes to the versions definition would be required. This will be both backwards and forwards compatible with all versions from 0.0.0 to 999.999.999 (well, infinity really)! Keep up the good work. psycopg import error

Hi, I have (Zope 2.9.4-final, python 2.4.3, linux2) and I have used psycopg2.0.11 adapter to connect Zope to Postgresql but I am getting this error when I try to add the connection object the error is :- Error Type: ImportError Error Value: psycopg version mismatch (imported 2.0.11 (dt dec ext pq3)) while the event log traceback shows that :- 2009-06-23T10:55:49 ERROR Shared.DC.ZRDB.Connection Error connecting to relational database. VHM missing 'mappings' tab in Safari 4 - just me?

Hi all - I recently upgraded to Safari 4 on Leopard 10.5.7. Since doing so, my Zopes' VHM objects no longer show me the 'Mappings' (mange_edit) tab. The same thing happens in recent WebKit nightlies. It does not appear to be a rendering bug - the tab isn't even the markup. Other browsers I've tried (Firefox 3.0.11, Opera 9.65, Camino 2.0b3) don't exhibit the problem. I've checked this on Zope 2.8.5 and 2.10.5 with the same result. I realize this is more of a Safari problem than a Zope problem, but I was just curious if anyone else had run into this, and if so, could suggest a solution. I'm pleased to announce a new release of sx.translations. This release records the dates untranslated msgids were first seen. sx.translations provides components for use with Zope 3 and Zope 2 + Five that implement both ITranslationDomain and ILanguageAvailability as well as supporting the recording of untranslated msgids. MailingLogger 3.3.0 Released!

I'm pleased to announce a new release of Mailinglogger. Mailinglogger provides two handlers for the standard python logging framework that enable log entries to be emailed either as the entries are logged or as a summary at the end of the running process. The handlers have the following features: - customisable and dynamic subject lines for emails sent - emails sent with an X-Mailer header for easy filtering - flood protection to ensure the number of emails sent is not excessive - support for SMTP servers that require authentication - fully documented and tested In addition, extra support is provided for configuring the handlers when using ZConfig, Zope 2 or Zope 3.
