Is it possible to reduce the size of the text in the ZMI? I'd like to get more text on my screen instead of scrolling so much. -- John

Hi, I've just released NMIMETools 1.0 - a multiple-dynamic-attachment-aware replacement for the Zope MIMETools. I've released a first version of NMIMETools some years ago, which wasn't thread-safe. I've fixed this and cleaned up the code, so NMIMETools can be used in heavy-duty-environments without problems. At least I think so...;) Download NMIMETools: http://mjablonski.zope.de/NMimeTools What is the use of NMIMETools? ------------------------------ If you want to create a mail with multiple dynamically determined attachments with the default MIMETools (<dtml-sendmail><dtml-mime><dtml-boundary>), you can't do this. No chance to iterate over the <dtml-boundary>-tag in a <dtml-in>. NMIMETools fixes this problem and allows you to attach multiple dynamically determind attachments to one mail. It introduces two new tags <dtml-nmime> and <dtml-nboundary> to avoid backward compatibility issues with MIMETools, because <dtml-nboundary> is now a open/close-tag. Thank you read my letter. I install the Zope first , there is some error , I can't fix it . Can you help me ? After I install zope2.7.2 , I run it . Redirection problem

I have a problem with URL not getting resolved properly and I'm sure it is something related to Apache but can't figure it out properly. I have just installed the Zope MessageBoard product and when using a full URL such as:- http://mysite.org:8080/myzopesite/MB I can add a new msg OK - the URL used is:- http://mysite.org:8080/myzopesite/MB/addMessageForm But when using the URL http://myzopesite.org, the URL displayed on the icon is:- http://myzopesite.org:8080/MB/addMessageForm This sounds like a very basic error but I can't figure out exactly what should be changed. Ideally, I would prefer to be able to access the message board just with http://myzopesite.org/MB and whilst the initial message board screen comes up none of the icons resolve to the correct URL. Can anyone suggest what I have ommitted? This is the RewriteRule in Apache:- RewriteRule ^/(.*) http://www.myzopesite.org:8080/VirtualHostBase/http/www.myzopesite.org/myzo… [P,L] Anything wrong with this? -- John

dynamic radio buttons

Is there any way to use radio buttons generated dynamically as a result of a ZSQL method. Each iteration needs to have a different name if they are to be treated as a separate group. The problem is compounded by the fact that I must write the user's choices to a database. Hey all, I recently wrote a script to allow me to log into any server via ssh from the command line by using a passphrase and a server alias. The idea is to not have to remember or look up ips/usernames/passwords to administer servers via ssh. Here's the output of the -h command line switch: This program takes at least one parameter: <serveralias> Optional params include: -a Add a new server: hosting.pl -a <serveralias> <username> <password> <ip> -u Add a new user to an existing server: hosting.pl -u <serveralias> <username> <password> -e Edit a user on an existing server: hosting.pl -e <serveralias> <username> <newpassword> -x Export configuration file to a new file with a different passphrase: hosting.pl -x <exportfilename> <newpassphrase> -c Change your passphrase: hosting.pl -c -l List all accounts on file. -n Start encrypted config from scratch. Do this if you have no config file yet (this is your first time running this script). The config file that holds the server info is encrypted using blowfish via the Crypt::Simple module. I figured this could be useful to some of you. Server does not answer

I have a Zope session that runs a Plone one. Navigating on the site is fine. But when one try to connect, the navigator sends a request to the Zope server. It sends back an acknowledgment : the navigator informs the web site is found. And then the navigator is waiting for data that never comes ? I have no error logged on my Zope instance. It is a FreeBSD 5 server that runs a Zope/(unreleased version, python 2.3.4 with ZServer/1.1 (Plone version : 2.0.3). What can be the problem ? Regards. Sebastien

objects in scope of REQUEST

Hi again everyone, I'd like my Product to be able to create certain objects on-demand, but only once per REQUEST. If via DTML or PythonScript etc ask for the same object more than once during the REQUEST, my Product won't create an additional instance. But most importantly, I need to make sure that these objects get destroyed when the REQUEST is done - so I don't leave a bunch of objects hanging around forever. Is this possible? I've seen somewhere that Temporary Folder can do this, but it looks as if that holds onto objects until Zope is shutdown - not what I'm looking for. Thanks for any hints, advice, or pointers to where to look for more info. btw - is anyone else out there timing out trying to hit zope.org? I can't even get cached pages from google. Jim
