TAL Hotfix 2004-07-13 for Zope 2.7.0, 2.7.1

This hotfix product fixes a security bug in Page Templates. This fix ensures that values substituted in named slots in translated elements are properly encoded. If encoding is not desired and the source of the replacement text is trusted, the "structure" modifier can be used with the tal:content or tal:replace attribute to explicitly disable encoding. Affected Versions This fix applies to Zope 2.7.0 and 2.7.1. Zope versions 2.7.2 and newer already contain this fix, and do not require this hotfix. internationalization and localization

hi, i have installed Zope 2.7.1 and i would like to make a some pages available in different languages using TAL statement. On google i find that this is possible in Zope 3 using i18n namespaces, however i would like to use it in a stable environment . Do you know if a backport has been done for it ? If no, what should i look for to have similar features ? Many thanks to all Samuele

Hi all, We are using Zope with TextIndexNG. Today, some queries started to crash, here is the error message : Site error This site encountered an error trying to fulfill your request. The errors were: Error Details Error Type SystemError Error Value Failed to import class r from module Record Request made at 2004/07/13 16:59:43.850 GMT+2 If I go to the ZMI, and select the 'SearchableText' index and then test a query, it crashes or not depending on which word I enter. In the vocabulary, everything looks fine. Does anybody have a clue on where I can start looking ? passing parameters from dtml-method to Script (Python)

Hi!!! I am relatively a newbie to zope, this might b jus another newbie question. but i am really stuck in this. I have a dtml-method which does the following <dtml-let pid="getProjectIdMTD" bid="getBatchIdMTD"> <b><center><dtml-var expr="gimmeBack(a=pid, b=bid)"></center></b> </dtml-let> -- getProjectIdMTD and getBatchIdMtd are just script python methods, which return simple strings. they jus do return "foo" -- return "bar" -- Now when i call the function gimmeBack(a=pid,b=bid), the pid and bid are not passed into the function. I am able to <dtml-var pid>, and it shows the value of pid. foo my gimmeBackMtd has return a No matter how i tried, I am just not able to make it work. But when I assign pid and bid with strings like <dtml-let pid="'foo'" bid="'bar'"> it works. Doesnt Script Python function return strings even if they appear to? Please help!!! Hello All, I am getting Error Type: TypeError Error Value: unsliceable object when i ran this python script yymmdd='040712' for i in container.pictures.objectValues(['Image']): if yymmdd==i.id[5:11]: return i.title the pictures is the name of folder that contain the images but i want the script to be in the same container as the pictures. thanks

If you need the exact URL that was requested by the browser including *) trailing and double slashes and *) query strings, then the attached script is for you.
