Keyword index negative query

Hi, I'm using Zope-2.6.1 with ZCatalog and several Keyword indexes. How can I make a query on a KeywordIndex to get objects for which a given value is not found ?? Typically, each of my objects is identified by a globally unique ID (OID) ; an object can keep a reference to another object through an "oid_refs" property (a list), which is indexed in a keyword index. What I want is to be able to find, for example, objects of a given meta-type, eventually stored in a given folder, which are NOT referenced by other objects. zdrun & zopectl

How do zdrun & zopectl work together? I need to be able to use the '-s' option with zdrun but don't know where to set it when starting zope using zopectl. Any advice would be appreciated. -- John

Apache 2 and Zope Integration

Hi all, I'm trying to persuade our powers-that-be that a switch-over to using Zope for our website would be "a good idea". For this, the best way for me to achieve things is using Zope and the existing Apache stuff together. I've been following the guide at http://zope.org/Members/anser/apache_zserver for using Apache's Inverse Proxy ability to reach our Zope installation. However, I am having the problem that i have to log in twice to the management interface and then when i come to log out of it, i get the following error from Apache: The requested URL /manage_zmi_logout was not found on this server. I have the following in httpd.conf [changed the names to protect the server]: ProxyPass /Zope http://a.b.com:81/ ProxyPassReverse /Zope http://a.b.com:81/ ProxyPass /misc_ http://a.b.com:81/misc_ ProxyPass /p_ http://a.b.com:81/p_ I have also added the SiteRoot object in the management root. Does anybody have any idea what i might have done wrong? Is it because we are using Apache 2 [2.0.48]? Many thanks Ade

Announcing zopewiki.org !

Hi all, I've set up a general-purpose Zope wiki at http://zopewiki.org . The blurb says: "This is a public wiki site for Zope , the open source web application server. Zope documentation has historically been scattered and hard to update. zopewiki.org aims to provide a single, simple, user-owned Zope documentation site to tie it all together." I have been wanting something like this for some time. At one time I thought it had to be on zope.org, but not now. It's time to stick my own neck out and risk public humiliation. I hope you'll all get involved and we can fix this accursed zope documentation problem. :)

That's exactly what I have, DTML code in a text file. It's been generated by python and contains "<dtml-XXX ???>" tags. I want read and execute the text file in Zope. The reason the above file resides on the local file system rather than within Zope is a design choice. I felt it would make life easier for us in certain respects. I may have been wrong. Unless you're using the LocalFS product in Zope. Zope Init Script For Gentoo

Hi All, Anyone have a script for Gentoo I can drop into /etc/init.d to start/restart/shutdown a Zope instance? I installed Zope from source, not the ebuilds, so I can't use the scripts Gentoo provides. I was planning to work on this, but since I'm not very good at programming, and there may be no reason to re-invent the wheel... TIA. Samir.

set Expires header in ZPT

I've tried this in ZPT: <span tal:define="dummy python:request.response.setHeader('Expires', 0); dummy python:request.response.setHeader('test', 'test')"> <h1 tal:content="python:request.response.getHeader('test')"/> <h1 tal:content="python:request.response.getHeader('a')"/> </span> It happens that only the "test" header is displayed, the "Expires" header is not. Does Zope do somethine special with "Expires" header ? How can I set it then ? Through property ?
