SSL: key and certificate

Hello all, I just installed Zope and then ZServerSSL. Then I created a client and everything is going fine using https protocol... and the "temporary" key and certificate provided with ZServerSSL. I tryed to generate new ones in two similar but differents ways. In both case, when I execute runzope, it's asking me for my passphrase. It's working when I enter it but it's anoying. I'm really not sure I'm asking this question to the good group since it looks more SSL related. But maybe someone of you have faced this same problem. Thanks for your time. Zope FTP

If someone is familiar with Zope's FTP can you show what a directory listing looks like when you have logged in? I've tried using list and nlst, two of the available commands according to help, but neither shows anything. Normal FTP commands (ls, cd) do not work at all. -- John

Fedora, Python 2.2.3, Zope 2.7, and Plone 2

Hello. I am setting up a new server for a client, who is asking for Redhat Fedora Core 1. The applications will be Zope 2.7 and Plone 2 based. The Fedora Core 1 package list states Python 2.2.3 is part of the distro. My understanding is that Zope 2.7, Plone 2, and Python 2.2.3 play well together. Is the correct? I'm trying to get the hang of Zope's FTP and am making slow (but steady) progress... What I have no idea about is the way the server presents objects to the client via what must be some sort of virtual file system. Assuming I have a user called manager on a site called plone1, I seem to get as far as /plone1/Members/manager but no command shows me what is in this directory. How do I find out what is there? -- John

how to call sql methods from a product?

hello, I am from Belgium and you'll don't believe me, but a trojan horse in on your computer. I've scanned the network-ports on the internet. (I know, that's illegal) And I have found your pc. Your pc is open on the internet for everybody! Because the smss.exe trojan is running on your system. Check this, open the task manager and try to stop that! You'll see, you can't stop this trojan. When you use win98/me you can't see the trojan!! On my system was this trojan, too! And I've found a tool to kill that bad thing. I hope that I've helped you! greets

Error 98 (Address already in use)

I'm getting this error message every time I start Zope. I was running the computer as root (linux) with no problems on port 80. Then I restart, can't login as root anymore, because apparently my password is wrong (?!) So I log in as my usual user, start up Zope with the -w 8080 and now I'm getting the Error 98... What's going on? ~John

Hello list... I really hope the list can help 'cause I'm in a bind... I've lost a machine that was running a Zope Applciation I have built. All I have is tgz of the entire /opt/zope tree. How can I get my applciation out of it? Jerry (worried) Westrick
