Stable combination of zope2.7/python/apache?

I am currently running Zope 2.44, Python 2.13, and Apache 1.3.22 on a RedHat 8 server which is pretty stable. I want to upgrade to 2.7 to take advantage of ZCTextIndex, as I want to have the ability to have exact phrase search capability and also take advantage of the faster speed. What is the most stable combination of Zope 2.7/Python/Apache? I had to use Apache 1.3.22 at the time because .23 and .24 had cookie setting and handling problems. Michael

Programatically creating workflows

Hi, we are starting to work on an extention of SMW CASE tool, and our intention is to programatically create Zope workflows from UML State Diagrams. This is a branch of ERP5 project(http://www.erp5.org), but I believe that it can potentially help every CMF developer/user. I would like to know the steps to programatically create, from Python scripts (outside Zope), CMF workflows (inside Zope). Zope 2.7 and ZODBCDA Product

I can't seem to get Zope 2.7 to start when the ZODBCDA product is in the Zope-Instance products folder. Platform is Windows 2000 Server. Two questions: 1) Am I right or wrong in assuming that ZODBCDA will not work with Zope 2.7, because some or all of it is a binary compiled with a previous version of Python? 2) Will ZODBCDA be updated soon? Are their Windows ODBC product alternatives? I have have never been able to get ZMySQLDA to run on W2K, despite many attempts and kludges. Double backslashes in IE

Following up on my problem with getting errors in the expression _.getitem(file.filename) when using IE, I've learned that IE "sees" the filename as something like 'C:\\CSF\\BUS581\\581F203H1BJS.doc'. The double backslashes are making it an invalid filename. I've put on my Python thinking cap, figuring I can write a script that takes care of that. But string.replace(x, r"\\", r"\") doesn't work. The raw single slash escapes the final double quote and gives an error. Any suggestions?

Zope 2.7.0 zopectl problems (bug?) and questions

I'm trying to find out how to use the zopectl script. How can I create an auto-restarting Zope, so that when Zope crashes it is automatically restarted?
