I'd also like to see see enhanced management of versions that includes the ability to list all the objects in a version, who and when they were edited. Undo changes of these objects from within the version. Why does this work index_html =HTMLFile('my_dtml_doc', globals()) while this doesn't def index_html(self,REQUEST,RESPONSE): " " return HTMLFile('my_dtml_doc', globals())(self, REQUEST, RESPONSE) where my dtml-var calls fail.

Calendar Tag

Anybody know the status of the Calendar tag? I spent time working on a newer version of the tag to do some other formats so I know it was there this morning. Right now I put them all in a folder off of root called "bin," and then use <dtml-var "bin.method()"> to call them. But that hard wires the path into the call. I know I can use various combinations of <dtml-with> to do what I want to do, but I'd rather be able to use something like the Python "import" method. Thoughts? dave

ODBC Setup

I did unzip the ODBC file into the root directory of my ZOPE installation, which is e:\rpa and the file it dumped was sql.pyd. However how do I now setup the connection in ZOPE. The drop-down list of objects doesn't show an ODBC setup thanks Sunit

BTW: Mozilla currently has the same problem with <base> and non-standard ports. What document should I refer to when reporting the bug? Hmm.... that would indeed be the cause of the misbehaving BASE tag. HTTPRequest constructs the BASE either from HTTP_HOST, or, if omitted, from SERVER_NAME and SERVER_PORT. You can confirm this by opening http://servername:serverport/path/to/Zope/REQUEST in w3m (in your case http://bespin:9090/REQUEST) and then look for the HTTP_HOST and SERVER_URL environment variables. If they read bespin, and not bespin:9090, then w3m is to blame and a bug report should be filed with its creator.

Do you mean info and tutorials for SQL (Structured Query Language) or for ZSQL (Zope's SQL support)? If the former, I recommend _The Pratcical SQL Handbook_, 3rd edition, by Bowman/Emerson/Darnovsky, Addison-Wesley 1996, ISBN 0-201-44787-8. This is a good book detailing most aspects of ANSI SQL, and with a good perspective on the diverging "standards" of vendors such as Sybase/Microsoft ("Transact SQL"). Hello all, Suppose I have a directory structure as follows: Main A A1 A2 B B1 Now lets assume that in B1 I want to use a method that is located in A2 and for reasons to lengthy to get into here, I can't move said method to say Main. Any thoughts? Happy Zoping DR

ODBC DRIVER EXTENTION DOWNLOAD ERROR: ---------------------------------------------- The ZODBC_DRIVER_3.1.0b2 ZIP has an extention of *.tgz on the site yet the downloaded file is a *.gz when downloaded. Rename the file with a *.tgz extention and it should unzip and install ODBC correctly.
